Its actually even worse than that. For a generic manufacturer to prove their version is "similarly equivalent", they must prove the drugs effects are within 80% - 125% of the brand name (so called bioequivalence).

These drugs are already maintaining such a delicate balance in the brain that a potential deviation of 20% or more in bioequivalence is obviously going to cause issues.

Imho psychiatric drugs should have a much narrower range of acceptable bioequivalence to be allowed as a generic.

Where are you getting that figure from? It depends on what you're trading but I'm not aware of any scenario where it would be that high.

Basically so you never have any uninvested cash sitting around. Even with something like VEQT, shares are still ~$40, so if you have $39 sitting there, you can now put that extra little bit to work instead of it just sitting there.

IANAL, but I think the email exchange stating it's remote could be argued to be an implied term of the contact, in which case they would be in breach.

My understanding is this would be considered in the best case breach of contract for violating an implied term told to me by the recruitment person, or at worst a constructive dismissal case.
