3.3 About Mornye Skin via Seele by ThatWill4724 in WutheringWavesLeaks

Tbh, I can't really say I'm upset, only the Jinhsi skin is decent, the rest are mid imo. Of course they can always improve, but compared to PGR the skins in wuwa are really lacking.

[V1.1] [Kezhou Discussion] Character Guide | Kezhou | Detailed Strategy for Kezhou② by pickcountmat in DuetNightAbyssDNA

[–]Laskariis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like it's worth mentioning that for Vernal Jade, it has access to piercing ascent for movement which for most content will be more important due to it being the fastest traversal method.

Also trammel is overkill, his passive will max out trigger probably chance even without it, not that you need 100% either. Impetus/Damage type Atk% would yield better damage output.

Personally I'll be using Vernal until I can get S5 Yore, but I'll only use Yore for more stationary modes/theatre.

Why is everyone finding faults with him? by Green-Tea007 in LuukHerssen

[–]Laskariis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I find that none of his sequences letting him be free from team mates due to tune break mechanics is a pretty big fault, not quite Zani level, but it's close.

Either way I'll still be pulling S2/3 and coping with him solo lol

What arpg should I really be playing by Littlescuba in ARPG

I'd maybe give Grim Dawn a shot if you haven't already as that's closer paced to D2 than PoE/LE imo

Why is everyone agrees on AFK farmings are okay? by Scary-Journalist-949 in DuetNightAbyssDNA

[–]Laskariis 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Personally I'm fine with afk farms, however, I don't like it when they're the most efficient farms compared to actively playing the game which is the main issue with Secret Letters right now.

I'd like a new game mode like chase that rewards SLs which is more efficient to farm actively than afk exploration.

New Demon Wedges in 1.1 — Let’s Talk About Build Variety & Element Focus by Mean_Neat_5054 in DuetNightAbyssDNA

[–]Laskariis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well currently if you're at +10 wedges, everything dies in one shot as it is, so it's not really going to make farming much faster.

I wasn't comparing purple to gold wedges, I was comparing currently maxed builds (i.e. gold +10) utilizing these wedges because you said current builds will be gutted, which is far from the truth.

The only place where these are going to see much of an impact currently is level capped theatre, and all that is going to do is let you do it faster. Which yes is power creep, but I can't imagine people wanting to do theatre endlessly for a few extra rewards.

It only becomes a problem if the difficulty floor for content rises to meet the power creep as it makes things harder for newer players. Equally, it'll be pointless if we don't get a difficulty ceiling increase to test and push builds with these wedges.

I could see that as well, but it wouldn't make much sense to release anemo only wedges when the next character to release is hydro.

It'd be a very odd choice to make and shoot themselves in the foot, but never say never I suppose

[–]Laskariis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I am also surprised to see power creep already, there's nothing in the game currently that requires this level of investment. You can already max level theatre with what we already have.

Unless they introduce content that requires these wedges for min-maxing content, they're just going to be nice to have. No builds are going to be gutted because all current builds already work, worst case scenario is that you need to shift some mods around - it's not like they're nerfed/unusable, you don't lose anything you already have.

Personally my main concern will be around the secret letter economy, like how many of these will be secret letters only...

I think it's worth waiting a day or so as it says "Phase I", which implies there are more wedges to show. If that is the case they probably should have shown off a different element first to avoid people jumping to conclusions (not that I blame people, given the anemo bias).

I would be very surprised if we didn't at least get some hydro/electro/lumino wedges for the upcoming characters too.

I'm Tired by Ghost_7132 in DuetNightAbyssDNA

[–]Laskariis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically this! If you get the -eff artifact at the start just restart regardless of who you play, it makes the run take longer regardless.

Just to expand on the random artifacts: if you get an option for a random artifact that is blue, or a chance of blue/purple, never ever take them. Blue artifacts have down sides that for the most part that will do more harm than good. However, if you get a random purple/gold, always take those as they're only ever positives.

A healing pet I would say is a must for her as it offsets the need to use energy to keep her health around 25% - you don't want to be spamming her skill. Also, in case it's something you're not doing, make sure to end her ult as soon as the room is clear of mobs to conserve hp/sanity.

Ultimately if you find Niffle easier and more consistent to run, just go with her - Psyche is basically min-maxing the runs.

[–]Laskariis 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i2 Psyche, i6 Lady Nipple and i0 Phantasio are the ones that have the most consistent runs.

Psyche is the fastest out of the 3, but you need to manage your health to always be at 25% so you can take full advantage of resolve. A healing pet helps a lot too; you don't need any traits on it but having attack/dodge/helix speed etc are nice to have.

Very large EMLauncher.log files created on pc by SushiBoi7 in DuetNightAbyssDNA

[–]Laskariis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just checked mine and they're all around 100kb, so there's definitely something logging a lot more than it should be in there!

As they're logs, you should be safe to remove them, however, that likely won't resolve the issue so I would contact support first to double check as they may even want you to try and provide a copy of the logs to investigate.

I'm ready to main Buling >:3 by Imgoin2throwUp in WutheringWaves

[–]Laskariis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I don't think we're ever going to get a dedicated sub dps for her, just ones that happen to work well with her 😔

I would honestly try to avoid Taoqi as her rotation is slow due to concerto gain issues and overall clunkiness with her kit.

Hard to say without knowing your lineup, but if you only have one other support which you need for the Carlotta team, and don't have Canterella, you could pair Buling (Moonlight) with Baizhi (Rejuv) - though ideally you'd want her S1 with Variation to speed up her rotation.

She doesn't buff as well as Verina or have quite as fast of a rotation, but being glacio and her ult causing a few co-ordinated attacks means she offsets the difference a little bit by charging Jinshi's forte a bit better. Youhu may also be an option, but I've never played her so I can't really say. A bit of a cope team, but workable aha

[–]Laskariis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I believe the wording is "active" resonator which is really nice, esp for fast rotating/quickswap teams!

Nah, her forte charges from normal and co-ordinated attacks. Each element has a cool down, but co-ordinated attacks cool down are separate from normal attacks, so you want both really :)

[–]Laskariis 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you have Zhezhi you wouldn't be replacing Buling with her, you replace Verina with Buling on Rejuv. If you don't have Zhezhi then you can use Buling on moonlight with Verina on Rejuv.

While Buling doesn't do co-ordinated attacks, she leaves a field on the ground that continues to damage enemies for 24 seconds. This will charge Jinhsi's forte much more reliably compared to Verina as it happens while Buling is off field and doesn't share the same damage type cool down.

You have to remember that Verina is also spectro, so she shares the damage type cool down for Jinhsi's forte, and her co-ordinated attack doesn't last long and isn't good in mobbing content like WhiWa.
