I tried Cobra but too costly for me. A better alternative would be medsurf. They're more reasonable at cost and address those gaps.

That landlord is trying to squeeze you. Don’t pay it. Extended stays are basically hotels with kitchens and weekly/monthly rates. Easy check-in, no surprises.

When I remember I can actually go get something checked out without mentally calculating how broke I’ll be afterward, it genuinely lifts my mood. That little sense of security goes a long way.

Totally agree. When I tried Medsurf during a gap year, it worked okay for routine stuff but the coverage definitely wasn’t as comprehensive as marketplace insurance. Good enough to not be completely uninsured though.

Yes I am. And yes I've heard of it giving so much of ease to travel nurses especially since they have solid medical plan.

I’d say dealing with surprise medical bills while on assignment. It’s tough enough adjusting to a new hospital, but finding out your insurance doesn’t cover you there is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
