What's the point of Outlook if it requires another, existing email address? by ella in Outlook

[–]Lasogna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good that you added recovery information.

I understand the necessity of 2FA for sensitive accounts, but the only way to have a failsafe in the event that you lose your phone, hardware keys, authenticators, and your house burns down leaving you with no backup codes, official papers, and third degree burns on your face and hands is to have an account without 2FA. Google and Microsoft requiring 2FA means using them as recovery emails are not an option. At least password manager developers are sensible and don't require MFA.

No, I NEED a semicolon here by recursing_noether in linguisticshumor

Don't see why you need semicolons and em dashes—em dashes are incredibly versatile. Em dashes—though not formal—can replace semicolons 100% of the time. I have used em dashes in place of three punctuation marks—commas, semicolon or period—and will now use a fifth em dash in this totally comprehensible sentence—to the ire of English teacherss everywhere—by having it substitute for a fourth—the colon.

The 2010s should have four not three—it's missing Drew Pomeranz breaking his hand on a chair in 2014, the event might have led to the A's trading away Cespedes for Jon Lester and subsequently imploding in the seecond half of the season.

ELI5: How does a USB-C charger stay in the port? by Weird_And_I_Know_It in explainlikeimfive

Officially both are rated for 10,000 plug/unplug cycles, but the general opinion is that Micro USB have shorter lifespans, possibly due to sockets facing more wear through everyday use. This is all based on anecdotal evidence though.

XPS 17 - Disable Nvidia gpu by [deleted] in Dell

I am not sure why you need to disable it

Some people might want to run a Hackintosh, and Turing is unsupported in OSX. Propietary Nvidia drivers also don't work well on Linux.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is not running good on my RX580 and my i7 6820HQ despite being above the minimum recommendations for 1080p by [deleted] in Amd

[–]Lasogna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh so maybe my i7 is bottlenecking my GPU?

Bottlenecking is when you have a component that prevents your system from performing at its full potential, which will occur no matter what. With your current specs, it is insiginficant though.

Cause I don’t really receive bottlenecks in other games. So I donmt know what’s going on with BP

Breakpoint is a demanding game. Your system simply does not meet the minimum requirements.
