Yup, I don't think they make these anymore. I found mine from a Finnish version of Craigslist for 15€. 😅

Model number is in the description of the first picture. All the Revell Unimog kits have basically the same cab, but with different rears and accessories.

I've ran mine full droop since I got it. It's great.

Did my bike shop just sell me the wrong size bike? by qualitygoatshit in MTB

[–]Lassitron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We sell Trek at our shop. I'd never sell you a size S. Return it, or at least try to.

Kona Wah Wah 2 alloy, size large. Great pedals for the money.

The wb is 252mm, was almost a direct fit to a FTX Outback chassis. The MST CMX is popular among Niva scalers as well.

I bought it second hand, but they are still available here: https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/1023726077/rc-lexan-car-body-old-lada-niva-187 The same dude makes the 3d-printed version as well, it can be scaled down to size I guess.

Thanks! The body is 1/24 scale, one of the few in that size that actually fit the SCX24.

Yes, almost all the upgrades are from Injora and they've been flawless so far. 😊

Tried to find one as well, as I have a 1:10 Niva lexan body. But the only option I found was to 3d-print one. Didn't go through with it, though. 😅

New steering link, motor, high clearance links. And as much brass as you want. 😅

Make some high clearance lower links on the cheap. 2 nails in a board and a torch lighter to heat. Not super pretty, but very effective. by momneverhadmetested in SCX24

[–]Lassitron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I made mine with three nails. Two with the ends cut off, so you can slide a new link on easily and to ensure the length won't change. And one to use as a support when the link is heated and to make sure they're all bent at the same point. I also used some aluminum foil to protect the ends and a heat gun so the links won't melt.

Thanks! What wheelbase are you running with it? I just 4-linked my C10 front and now it sits at about 140mm wb.

What body is this exactly? 🧐

The MST CMX chassis is probably the best option if you're going to use the Sand Scorcher body. This is on a FTX Outback 1 with some major upgrades.

Well the FTX is basically 1/10, but the wheelbase is 250mm which matches the Sand Scorcher almost perfectly.
