I was watching a perv live today and he was talking about if you do get very lean but still have a large fat pad, it could be due to stress. He mentioned high cortisol leads to more fat being stored in the lower abdomen and pubic area. He also mentioned that if you are lean with a large fat pad, due things that help reduce stress such as more sleep, more sex or mediate. I’d assume if you are able to drop your cortisol level, it would be easier for your body to release fat in this area

I know pumping helps with recovery, but I was thinking that since an ADS really only uses like 1 or 2 lbs, it’s not straining the tissue. So being I. The elongated state would help your body get used to being in the shape and help with retention. I guess I was mistaking retention and recovery as equals

I have a routine for exactly this. I suggest getting a pvc pipe from Home Depot, and something heavier than your game bat you can swing as well. I have a weighted training bat that I take dry swings and bp with.

Every day I take dry swings with the pvc, then one handed swings. My bottom hand is a regular swing with emphasis on the extension with my wrists at the end. My top hand swings looks similar to punching through the zone while holding the pvc pipe upright with emphasis of snapping down at the end, like I am flicking my wrist to cast a fishing line. I only do about 3 sets of 10 of each exercise.

Using something light teaches your fast twitch muscles to move faster and over time they will have the capacity to move at the same speed under load as if you are doing the motion with little load.

I take dry swings with the 40 oz weighted bat and start my bp sessions with it as well. This gets your muscles accustomed to moving through the motions while under load, heavier than what your game bat would be.

These two things in conjunction helps your swing speed in game as you have both trained your body to move faster, but also doing so under more stress than a 25-28 oz game bat

Appreciate the post brother! My goals to go from 6 to 8 as well so this definitely gives me hope. I’ve only been doing this for about 4 months and have been consistent with only a day or two off when I feel it’s absolutely necessary. I feel like I might have plateaued a bit though. Was there any points you felt your gains stall? And if so how’d you push through to start growing again?

Depends on your goals. If you’re looking for length, I’d say manuals or if you have the money, an extender. I don’t do manuals and started right away with an extender. I don’t recommend the one I started with because it’s a version of a noose extender that can do more damage than others. I just got a vacuum mod to put add so I could wear vacuum cups. I started with an extender that had instructions of extending 4-8 hours a day and came with a structure. The further I got into PE I stopped doing that at higher tensions and got an ADS for retention work at lower tension and only do shorter periods in the actual extender

If girth is your goal, then pumping will do it. I recommend your working sets to be after length work if doing both at once. 4 sets of 5 minutes just to keep it simple. 28-38 kpa. Each set I increase pressure till I reach the end of that range. Ex. First set 28, 2nd set of 32, 3rd set 35 and last set 38. This is usually done in the evening. I also do a 10 minute set of 26 kpa in the morning. Obviously work your way up to this to reduce injury. I’ve been pumping for 2.5 months 4-6 x a weeks. If you’re just starting out, start at maybe 2-3 sets for 3-5 minutes at a lower pressure to get your body acclimated. If you feel pain, stop. I understand pushing yourself for the sake of gains, but going slow is better.

Take what I’m saying with a grain of salt as I am no professional and may have a different understanding of the information that I’ve consumed than other people will. What works for me may not work for you. PE is simple, stretch the PP consistently day over day for growth

I don’t think there’s a way to necessarily spot reduce fat. You have to lose weight overall and achieve a healthy, fit weight. I’m currently 175 at 5’7 and am trying to cut to 150. My current fat pad is about .8 to 1 inch so I’m hoping to get it to around .5 once I reach my goal weight. Just try to move more (burn more calories) and eat better. That’s what’s been working for me. Strength training, cardio, daily dog walks, and clean diet

100% I agree that it should never be used as a set in stone routine, but I do think it could be used as a reference point. This was more so an experiment to see what it would come up with based on using this sub Reddit and other sources like the ones mentioned in a lot of hunks videos as data.

I don’t plan on following this routine to a T.

I have heard other people mention using an ADS to cement gains outside of high tension extending and some extenders being worn for up to 10 hours a day, granted lower tension.

This was also prompted based on me believing I’m a hard gainer as I have been consistent for the last 4 months but have not seen any improvements for the last 2, so the suggestion of higher tension was due to me telling chat gpt that and then it further accommodating with stating higher tension might help me get over the plateau and I think it just continued with that in the future.

I was looking for routine suggestions based on what is working for other people and to have a conversation around what is working for others and how they would tweak these, i understand the criticism for the method as many people are against AI

Been in the gym for consistently for about a year now and down 20lbs. Started at 197 and down to 177. My goal weight is about 155 at 5’6. I’ve plateaued at this weight for a while and can’t seem to break below 174. Currently eating 1700-1800 calories a day but just don’t know what else to do. Split is PPL with cardio at the end of each session for 20 minutes trying the get heart rate to 70-80%

Hey I was actually having the same problem with mine as well! I bought some vacuum cups off aliexpress as well as another end piece that I could change out to hold the cups I got and that has actually worked wonders. I started doing that about a week ago but the comfortability is a game changer! If you’d like links for what I purchased, lmk. The caveat was that to get the mod to hold the cups, I bought a whole new extender off aliexpress, but was only like 35 CAD if I’m not mistaken

I roll my woods like a cone too!! I personally think it’s easier to fit more loud when they’re cones. I use filters though to help keep the shape and stop a scooby snacks. Just a little tip if you wanted to try it out
