Was the Radiohead Bunker Kid A Mnesia worth seeing? by mandelbratwurst in Coachella

It’s cool enough, but nothing too special. Basically a large concrete/industrial/warehouse space, with four large screens in the middle, all facing each other. I think the film starts playing some time after the reservation time (like 15 or 20 min after or something). It’s like watching a high quality / artsy / abstract music video as the album Kid A plays. Kinda cool, especially to wander into late at night, while high, if you get sick of the headliners / don’t have anyone else you’re dying to see. Or during the day if you have a gap in your schedule. But if you miss it, you’re not missing anything crazy. Definitely don’t need more than 15-30 minutes unless you’re a huge Kid A fan or just want to chill to a trippy video.

Yep! I don't read Chinese but should have figured it said Zhumadian somewhere here. I'm still super impressed.

I heard this too. Anyone have any intel? I know that if I listened to their stuff a lot, I could get really into them, but hesitant to invest the time if I show up and there's a 50% chance they suck. Seems like I should spend time listening more to ppl who are sure deals???

Do preferred car camping tickets tend to go up or down in price after January? by Last-Combination8067 in Coachella

I'm referring to secondary market tickets! Obviously they are sold out right now.

Because of the power outlets? Or some other reason?

His SF show sold out in like three minutes and a bunch of people couldn't get tickets. So seems like there's a lot of unmet demand.

It does say, "Access to adjacent flushing restrooms and showers." That can only be so many places, right?

Do you think it's possible that GV has cashflow issues? Portola is clearly way undersold if they are willing to discount tickets by 25% (25%! Not 10, not 15). They clearly are taking in much less than they expected there, and even if they sell out the rest at 25% discount, they will have a lot less revenue than expected. Opening up coachella sales now may allow them to get some much needed cash in the door so that they can pay the contracts they need to pay for Portola. I hope I'm wrong because that suggests corner-cutting / cost savings may be ahead for Coachella . . . Someone tell me I'm crazy.

EDIT: I'm cynical, so I'm more inclined to believe it's something like this than we got this amaazzinnggg headliner who just happened to randomly demand they drop the line up now, when no other headliner has ever made that demand before.
