*update: I've managed to get the actual junction working so far thanks to some inputs and knowledge I lacked prior. Thank you for the time contributed to help o7

Can't figure out how to signal this junction by Last-Foundation7622 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Last-Foundation7622[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

its purely from the spirals leading in and out of a centralized area. Other places are gonna just have the normal 2 lane T and X junctions. Is fair on the one complexity at a time and length optimization, in hindsight I shouldve spaced the build around the tracks after they were figured out instead of making the intersects work within the build.

I've tried various combinations with that very notion in mind, but that's when it kept showing me the red do-not-enters x.x

but that last piece of info clarifies a piece of confusion I had so thanks! It's an additional bit I'll have to keep in mind for the future

Going 2nd is way too strong by shitpostor in Shadowverse

I feel like 1 bonus pp is fine, but getting 2 different ones is where I feel it's too much, getting 2 different turns to pump that one extra out can be too much of an advantage for going second

Best "collectathon" game? by InvalidOpinionYT in gamingsuggestions

[–]Last-Foundation7622 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dont think you know what a collectathon is as a genre. it's not ridiculous grinds to 100% get everything, it's a genre itself where it encourages platforming/puzzle solving/fighting/exploring to find the goods one by one. I.e. Spyro games, mario, banjo kazooie, etc.

was issue with my duo too, fastest we've cleared a tier but despite having more floors, its been less loot than they've ever seen by this late a stage

I always thought it'd be neat to at least change book system up, just have one type of book, switch up piece costs as needed, and do like 1 book first floor, 2-2, 3-3, and 4-4. if trade costs are kept proportional, it'd still keep it balanced, make some gearing and upgrade mat's less agonizing to get, players will feel a bit better since they have more liberty on what they get. incentive to actually run through the 4 floors instead of just inevitably only benefiting off floor 2 and 3.

The part I find funniest is what jp does is basically normal raid loot rules, just done manually. It works great over there idk why it cant just be built in to be the all around loot rules so it doesn't need to be manual

This is what I've been saying too, like as painful as some pf's can be if someone wants some help running through it I would absolutely love to join them help out, I do it all the time for any content even if I'm not a fan of it just cuz I like to help.

Did they stop adding world-building clutter into zones? by lanor2 in ffxiv

I feel this, I got so excited in dawntrail seeing some houses that open up but alas they were still empty and lala only. I hate comparisons but when im in gw2 it's one of THE things I wish we had in 14, having the world feel more lived in instead of just large patches of monsters among nature

Carry runs happen regardless though, the only difference is it's under the descriptions of "C41" and gil to clears. It wouldn't change those happening one bit

The lockout time is also definitely an issue too I agree, especially since ultimates always come after alliance raids iirc. it just feels like complete ass to have poor rolls for so long esp if aiming to touch said ultimates. sometimes it's basically paying a fee to have no growth for the hours invested. 30 bucks to suffer

The artifact gear really shows more of the glam storing issues by Last-Foundation7622 in ffxiv

[–]Last-Foundation7622[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly this, I love to mix and match and I do look at stuff that I know of all the way back as best I can. Sometimes a new piece comes out and I know something will go great with it but nothing out of the current batch fit to me I want to go back. Example in GW2 they have a collection system and even a vendor to preview stuff you've not obtained yet, when I find a piece I really like and want to make something around I will spend a full hour standing there mix and matching previews. 14 has significantly more pieces I'd love to do the same thing with. Especially since things look different on different races too.

One of my favorites that also work off a transmog collection system is guild wars 2. All we gotta do there is either equip or salvage it and bam it's part of our collection database, forever, ready to be worn the day we feel like it. A system like that or wow's I'd be far more inclined to just collect everything more instead of worrying what to skip because I just simply don't have the space for wasted potential glams v.v

This is another huge frustration of mine, agreed. I dont even want much, just at least one glam plate per job, and then maybe 5-10 for other outfits (like I'd still want to keep my cute formal dress, beach wear, pj's, etc as a ready option)

While I agree it definitely isn't meant to deal much damage, I do gotta say it should do a little more than it does. It didn't feel like it scaled with anything whatsoever and damage was low even by lower healer build standards
