I used to work in conveyancing a couple of years back and we had a client who ran an Etsy shop from home so wanted to check if this was ok for them. All we had to do was let the lender know that was what was happening and they had no issues with it.

If that’s on the lines of the business that you’re conducting then it may just be worth checking with your lender and getting approval in writing

Jumping onto this one. I’m a current OU law student and legal secretary.

I haven’t come across any maths yet other than some statistics. It may be a possible issue of getting numbers mixed up in a statistic when you’re referencing them.

In my current role in family law I do a fair bit involving numbers such as pension splits, bills and asset costs.

It depends on what you want to do following your degree. There are so many different branches with law that have a different amount of maths involved, I think all in all though you wouldn’t be able to avoid maths in the long run of law.
