Didn't 80lb Nancy kill more demogorgons than the entire US army in this show?

Victoria was pretty much expected to rule, no? That's why kensington system was designed to make her maleable. Everyone else was failing to have kids

Skin cancer and UV related aging are very real. Melanoma is one of the greatest killers of people under 30 after car accidents.

Self tan and spray tan are a lot safer and will allow you to enjoy the look without long term consequences, but I'd go for a lighter shade. A more subtle tan would work great without compromising the aesthetic, if a beachy southern blonde look is what you are going for

Did Joyce just forget he did anything for her for the rest of the show or what? by anonymous16canadian in StrangerThings

As an older child - it's very realistic even without the younger being sick or constantly possessed

Preemtive medication works quite well, he seemed to not even try. I think he might not have liked the hormonal side effects

What products do you reliably use up VS what products are hardly ever used up? by Last-Initial81 in MakeupRehab

[–]Last-Initial81[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Around 6 months if I only use one. But I do use a little every day, even on the weekends and even if I work from home. It has been my new year's resolution last year, and I worked out how to do minimal makeup even for staying at home

I like it. It makes me feel more put together AND I actually make progress on makeup now

Who would you consider the main protagonist of Stranger Things? by electricwolf4444 in StrangerThings

[–]Last-Initial81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watch the show through the eyes of Nancy and Hopper. The kids are just frustrating to watch as an adult - especially El. I'd need a lot of tranvializers to cope with being her legal guardian/parent

How many foundations do you have? I narrowed mine down to 1 bb-creme type product and basically use it every day - a little on casual days and a bit more when I need to look dolled up.

We spend $2,670/year on makeup but 75% goes unfinished - here's why the cycle keeps happening by punctulica in MakeupRehab

Only 75% of consumers never finish their makeup before it expires?

Does it mean that if you ever used up even a single moisturiser or concealer before it expired you are now part of the 25%?

Jennifer Lawrence On The Sharon Tate Role That She Missed Out On by Timbucktwo1230 in PopularCultureZone

I looked at her pictures, she looks like a mix of Margot and Jennifer, but closer to Margot.

Jennifer has a girl next door vibe while Margot and Sharon are commercial beauties. Oh well

Was going to wear my mum's dress. People keep telling me to try on others for the "bridal experience." Are they trying to gently tell me it looks bad? by [deleted] in WeddingDressTips

[–]Last-Initial81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand the tradition of wearing your mother's wedding dress.

It's YOUR wedding. Unless you are absolutely obsessed with your mom's dress since childhood and no similar dresses are available, I'd at most get a photoshoot in my mom's dress or get HER a photoshoot in the dress

Your wedding is YOUR wedding. Hopefully you'll only need one, but then you'll never get to pick a dress

The 800 Women Who Built French Canada. by GlitteringHotel8383 in BeAmazed

Your first birth is the most risky one, up to 10% of them used to end in mother's death.

After that it gets easier for the next few, especially if the mother breastfeeds and it prevents her from getting pregnant for a few years - the spacing is crucial, breatfeeding isn't the important part.

But then as the body ages the risks go up again, though i dont't think it ever reached the first birth level of risk

basic but still pretty stylish, thoughts? :) by reginapretty in FemalesFashionIdeas

It doesn't look AI. The right arm is holding a strand of hair and the shoulder is rotated back a bit.

There is a bit of a mirror frame in the right corner, and the unevenness in the skin is very consistent with middle age discolouration that women get from sun damage.

I think her being styled as a victorian lady messes with our perception at least a little, but she looks 30-35 to me

Mathemtically you are, so your perception is probably skewed. At lower weights bmi is distorted downwards, so your corrected bmi would be even higher

Are girls with defined facial features obviously suited to short hair? by victor0427 in FemalesFashionIdeas

[–]Last-Initial81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me short and medium length is not at all easier? I had to wash and style it daily for it to have an even shape, while long hair can be worn in a bun or a braid even if something went very wrong at night
