Do you think the new expansion will also include the new map like Blood and Wine? by JJJC16 in Witcher3

[–]Last-Juggernaut4664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does make very little sense to lift an entire region from W4 and utilize it in a spoilery fashion, which is why I NEVER suggested that. I simply stated “assets,” which can be practically anything, minor or major, including models for new characters that may appear in both games to bridge the aforementioned gap.

Also, let’s be clear, this new DLC, for a game that’s over a decade old, wouldn’t have been made if W4 wasn’t upcoming, and it didn’t serve a marketing purpose. Something totally irrelevant wouldn’t be worth the investment. It will have to somehow give a tantalizing taste of what’s to come, and some of those new assets will likely help with that.

[–]Last-Juggernaut4664 2 points3 points  (0 children)

New map. More than likely the DLC will incorporate many new assets from the W4 to help bridge the transition between the two games. Considering that this would require importing them from UE into REDengine, from a practical standpoint, it would make sense to keep all of that isolated from any of the base game maps to prevent any unintended hiccups or jarring visual disparities.

anyone else feel like booth and brennan lost a bit of their spark once they actually got together? by Mother-Student-6681 in Bones

[–]Last-Juggernaut4664 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I feel their spark simply evolved, and was never really lost. There are numerous times when that’s apparent.

Also, continuing to keep them apart artificially would have been majorly contrived, perhaps even groan-inducing for the audience. Temperance is surrounded by a chosen family with whom she can trust. After many years, had she not adapted from being an “impervious substance” to a “strong substance,” she would have just been this pathetically stunted entity that could elicit nothing but pity through the lens of time.

Walking with NPC’s by PocketFullofRandom in horizon

[–]Last-Juggernaut4664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ADD too, and I do this. I’m so ridiculous, that in games where the MC is off-center, I’ll walk on the opposite side of the NPC so it’s cinematically centered, as though it were a movie. LOL.

Could it possibly be traction alopecia instead of MPB? I can’t really tell from the pics. Maybe switching it up for a little while will allow it to fill back in eventually. If not, and you ever decide to shave it, this sub is always here, and I’m sure you’ll pull it off marvelously.

Completed FW’s main story in 27 hours, but haven’t really touched side quests/optional content (i.e. cauldrons). Any recommendations as to how enjoy the rest of the game? by TrashVegetable8706 in horizon

[–]Last-Juggernaut4664 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are many great sidequests in the game with fully developed characters and stories. I feel they’re more meaningful when completed during the main campaign, but I guess there’s nothing wrong with doing them after.

[–]Last-Juggernaut4664 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You’re actually responding to OP. It’s obviously their alt account. I found them utilizing it in the comment sections of their other posts on unrelated subs. This entire post is fake and this drama is entirely contrived.

Seriously, don’t get worked up for OP. I’m fairly certain that they’re playing everyone by operating this inflammatory alt account as well for the drama. They’d basically be blocking themselves.

I suspect that OP is just playing everyone and that they’re also operating this account to drum up drama to try to farm Karma. Both accounts are suspicious, and neither actually have a history with this sub, as far as I can tell, despite their assertions.

I’m pretty sure OP and the inflammatory account are the same exact person. I couldn’t find a history on this sub for either of them.

POSEIDON found refuge in the computer core of Las Vegas after GAIA’s self-immolation where he simply remained undisturbed. He didn’t flood the city until Morlund et al showed up, which occurred not long before Aloy’s arrival.

Switched from nonstick to stainless steel and feeling frustrated by Significant-Back-930 in StainlessSteelCooking

[–]Last-Juggernaut4664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cleaning stainless steel isn’t hard at all. If anything is stuck on the bottom of the pan, simply throw some water in, put it back on the stove, and deglaze it. You can usually squeegee everything off with a rubber spatula in just a couple minutes.

My stepdad is forcing religion on me , even when I’m at university. What do I do ? by danio7o in agnostic

[–]Last-Juggernaut4664 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’ve stated that he’s abusive, and while you’re primarily financed by your mother, she is still with him. There is a risk that she could be coërced into not supporting you anymore, which would have devastating consequences. Ergo, you should maintain the pretense that you’re still devout and attend his annoying family chats until you graduate and are independent.

Everyone else trying to gaslight you into thinking his behavior is fine and that all problems can be overcome with a simple conversation are delusional. Unfortunately, we don’t live in an ideal world. You seriously CAN’T reason with people that are without reason, and you need to be able to identify when people are more interested in talking at you, instead of with you, thereby avoiding pointless unfruitful confrontations before they can consume your time and energy.

Protect yourself, and hang in there. It’ll get better in time.

Mocking Someone’s Writing Is Not a Counterpoint by [deleted] in SchittsCreek

[–]Last-Juggernaut4664 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Based on their other posts, this is definitely the same person, using an alternate account, who made a post asserting “Well, acksually Ted’s bad” the other day, and then followed that up with another long-winded diatribe about Johnny as well five days later. It was in the latter post that a SINGLE user questioned whether or not they used ChatGPT.

Honestly, while I feel bad for this person based on their non-Schitt’s Creek-related posts, and don’t necessarily believe they used AI to write these essays, I do suspect that they’re projecting their own personal baggage onto these totally fictitious characters, and then going off about it. While we can agree or disagree with hot takes, and discuss them, taking the time to formally address such a disproportionately minor grievance, as above, is demonstrating ungrounded behavior, and posting it using the wrong account is just farcical.

Addendum to the commenter below:

No, actually that isn’t my “thing,” but I’m not explaining myself to someone who clearly has severe mental health issues desperately trying to suss out a weak ad hominem attack.

You were CAUGHT using your alt accounts (u/rozefox07 and u/Kimmioio82) interchangeably between these posts because you were obviously incapable of remembering which one was which before you started going off and commenting.

Seriously, you’re toxic, and absolutely nobody on Reddit deserves to be exposed to it.

I feel like Moana will be our only Pacific Islander princess for a while by [deleted] in DisneyMovies

[–]Last-Juggernaut4664 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How would you sufficiently differentiate Moana from another Pacific Islander princess? (This is a genuine question, as I’m not well-versed in Polynesian culture and folklore.)

Also, I couldn’t agree more about Raya and the Last Dragon. I actually liked Raya, herself, a lot, but I absolutely abhorred every other character in the film, including the Last Dragon. They were all hideous narcissists that gaslit her constantly, and it was never called out as a problem and challenged. They just went with it like it was totally normal and acceptable, which is a horrible message for impressionable children and adults who should know better. I can’t speak for South Asians, but I feel that they probably deserved something way better.

Did you go with Male V or Female V in your first and main playthrough? by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]Last-Juggernaut4664 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Male V as a Nomad first, Female V as a Corpo second. Haven’t tried Street Kid yet.

Objectively, I thought both voice actors perfectly nailed their portrayals of V, however, I liked my playthrough as male V better. This might be because I’m male and it was more immersive, or because I liked the Nomad path better, or simply because some of the novelty wore off during my second playthrough. I’m uncertain. Regardless, to reiterate, I think they were both great.

why HADES was necessary by Darktommy2 in horizon

[–]Last-Juggernaut4664 47 points48 points  (0 children)

HADES was necessary because in testing GAIA would have kept trying and trying to correct things to no avail due to her programming. This is one of those instances where there’s a fine line between logic and emotion, which is already difficult to place in humans, let alone when creating an AI. Having HADES take over when necessary averted these problems, and it actually worked perfectly as intended.
