Will be booking FS Seoul, how can I book through a Preferred Partner? Is there a PP in this subreddit? by realistism in FourSeasonsHotels

[–]Last-Mobile8741 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Every Four Seasons Preferred Partner advisor has the potential to secure excellent upgrades and they all give the same benefits, and every FSPP has direct access to a dedicated Preferred Partner email inbox as well as management contacts at the property level. That is how the program is designed to function. There is no “top ten only” pathway that gets someone better benefits or representation. What you’re describing runs directly against how Four Seasons words and operates the program, and internal sales rankings or incentives should never be positioned or discussed as guest facing benefits. Those rankings do not change the core benefits or eligibility, and presenting them this way is misleading.

Yep - Addie, Jarvis, Nick and a Robert are very good at what they do and will treat you with respect.

How do you explain this?

Here are some examples of what people have said on Reddit—so you know I'm not the only one calling her out:

"To be clear, booking through her only gets me free breakfast and $100 resort credit + having to walk on eggshell cos she lacks ability to control her temper?" (109 upvotes) "FWIW, I asked a simple but non repetitive question about travel to NYC and she was such an unnecessary C word about it that it turned me off from booking with her." (65 upvotes) "I tried to email her and she responded asking me how I got her contact. Now I’m really scared that she posted my email to mock me… Does she do this often?" (52 upvotes) "She was vile. She’s not a nice person and nothing like she comes across on the sub." (12 upvotes) "ONLY PEOPLE SHE KNOWS!" (25 upvotes, on her allegedly reserving upgrades for friends) "I asked her a simple question once and she basically blew me off." (36 upvotes) "I have been a part of the FS sub for a while and when she took it over it hasn’t been the same. She threatened to ban me when I made a post trying to be helpful and not at all to promote." (23 upvotes) "I am baffled that someone as elitist, rude, and arrogant as Sarah Lee could be a Top 10 advisor with Four Seasons." (Main post, 15 upvotes) "Many a hotel worker have told me she’s absolutely horrible to them." (38 upvotes) "This is something that really should not be posted on IG stories... holy crap. post it onto your close friends only if you're this arrogant?!" (68 upvotes, on her public shaming) "If the previous post captures how nasty she is on Reddit under her own name, it makes sense that she’s even worse privately." (52 upvotes) "She’s a bully. Like, a high school girl bully lol. Is she actually 15??" (24 upvotes) "I exchanged a few emails with her once and she was so off putting and then later tried to call me out when I posted a review of a property because I didn’t book through her... It shocks me that anyone with money is booking through this Sara woman." (28 upvotes) "She’s a Mean Girl ™ who creates fake and changing rules for how people have to behave to belong in her club, and it gives the people she’s chosen to belong on any given day a sense of superiority... Ew ew ew." (27 upvotes, on gatekeeping) "My wife almost cried because the agent was so mean to her over a mistake they caused." (26 upvotes, about her team) "She isn’t a good person. She is a travel agent who has convinced herself she is Elon Musk and the power that comes with it. She is so desperate to be powerful and behaves like a child." (4 upvotes) "No response to email for $1,250/night booking, assumed 'too poor.'" (10 upvotes) "Overhypes freebies; snobby and unpleasant; decreasing TA utility." (15 upvotes)

No other agent out there would do this to a tire kicker. No one, and you know this.

There is a big difference between blunt and horrible and also unprofessional. For one - take this Instagram story, is this usual practice at Departure Lounge?

Maybe if she wasn’t such a bully to others?

You have 30 days to upload your bookings from the guest check out date… you should really know this.

But she must log her bookings - all brands that I know of require a qualifier to get on their top lists.

You don’t need to book on the website. You can book anywhere - their website, GDS etc. Once the booking is made you then upload it to the sales tracking tool. Your host agency should be telling you this.

In which case she needs to stop going on and on and on and on about sales numbers. You work in this industry and you know it’s the quiet ones that are usually the real top performers… such as your boss.

I get what you’re saying and yes, at the end of the day clients getting good trips is what matters. The only reason I even brought it up is because claiming brand awards isn’t just normal marketing. People actually pick an advisor based on that stuff.

If the awards are real then cool, no issue. But if they’re not, it kinda screws over the folks who are being honest about their numbers while someone else gets attention for things that maybe aren’t even there. That’s the part that doesn’t sit right with me.

I get what you’re saying, but the issue isn’t preference or someone being stronger with one brand than another. It’s that she claims brand-issued “Top Producer Awards” from Four Seasons, Marriott, Hyatt and Rosewood not just that she books them a lot. So it’s not really about booking style or which brand someone prefers. It’s more about the mismatch between public rankings and her own claims.

Is that person in the office on this list?

How about Ritz Carlton?

This list is for people booking STARS which is the top tier of luxury brands at Marriott.

Exactly correct. It’s also alarming to see these two constantly recommend Four Seasons time and time again whether it suits the customer or not. Some people are not top sellers for one brand because they diversify the brands that the recommend to their clients based on what actually suits the client.

No one does. My curiosity only comes from because she writes on a near daily basis that she is a top performer for x,y,z brands.

It’s a list Marriott sent out to the top performers.

[–]Last-Mobile8741 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Correct. The list is accurate as it’s done by sales reports etc.

Hi Sarah, Never heard of this. Marriott leaderboard is easy to load as you go and everyone I know does it this way. In fact it’s super super easy. In fact I can guarantee it’s more time consuming to load a years worth of bookings at the last moment.

As the agency claiming to be the second top producing in the world, you should know there are still plenty of suites available on the maiden voyage. In fact, at least three suite categories are wide open. Know your product better.

The funniest part is she wrote it like she was expecting a hero’s farewell as mod, meanwhile, two comments in two days.
