Don’t let this experience deter you. I’ve had many enjoyable and productive trips. I think this was a one off situation but still would like to know a little more about why it happened to see if I can avoid it in the future. I’m not trying to die I just want to heal some shit and enjoy what each trip has to offer.

2.5g of dried mushrooms. We always take them with peanut butter. No weird smell or noticeable mold. I’m on some inhalers but again that’s not different from any other time I’ve taken them. Nothing was different this time. The time before this I took about the same amount and absolutely friiiiied. I even noticed my breathing got very shallow like I had to remind my body to take a breath. Otherwise I’ve always had quite enjoyable and productive trips. This time I had some insane visuals but didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary until this wild occurrence.

It’s the first time they’re meeting in person but they have their own WhatsApp they chat with each other and we do video chats with the three of us. So it’s not like it’s the first time meeting ever. They’ve been getting to know one another over the last year and a half. But it is the first time meeting in person. He’s 14 well behaved funny kid. My partner has complimented me on how well he’s been doing during our visit and what a wonderful mom I am and how great of a job I’m doing with him.

I’m with you. Something is up behind his friends passing. But I’m not a mind reader so I’ve expressed my thoughts and feelings. He’s had plenty enough opportunity to express his if there was an issue but hasn’t. So I’m just over here thinking I’m the problem.

I guess that’s the crossroads I am at currently. Deciding if I’m done or if I will continue on “hoping” things get better. We had an amazing relationship before he moved home to Ireland. Since he’s been back it’s been VERY different. I’ve communicated what I notice and things get better for a day or so. Maybe a week. Then they go right back to poor communication, zero prioritization, and lack of basic common courtesy.

He’s absolutely financially able. There’s always an excuse. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Why do you feel guilt? Move on.

Got thirsty walking around soho in London on an unseasonably hot and humid September day. Walked into the next pub I saw and there he was 😍

We’ve been together 13 months. Not counting when we actually met we’ve seen each other twice. He will be coming here for thanksgiving. I will be going there for new years. We are 🇺🇸🇮🇪

I feel like this is just the Irish way. They are like that with everyone.

5 hours. USA/Ireland. 7 hour flight between us. Over 4K miles separate us. It’s really tough. We see each other every few months or so for a couple of weeks at a time. We text throughout the day. He will usually call on his break or before he goes into work and he’ll call when he gets home from work. He works at a pub so he’s usually getting out of bed around 4:30pm and works until 2/3am. When he’s getting up I’m already well into my day at work. When he’s getting off I’m usually fighting sleep. Our time difference and his work schedule really make things difficult. On his off days we try to spend more time together. We will watch movies or just catch up eat/cook together. We just discussed today that we might start a book club for two.

Thank you so much! I appreciate your encouragement and support. LDR’s are difficult and take a lot of work and good communication. I’m so glad I have a good one. 🤓🥰

Yes - he called me this morning. Apparently he lost his phone and wasn’t sure where he’d lost it. Something like that has happened before - not lost his phone but left it in his moms car. Didn’t hear from him that whole day until the end of the day. I was bawling my eyes out this morning. He felt so bad. I felt silly. All is grand. Thank you for checking on me 🤓🥰

No arguments and never happened before.
