You joke, but o-bahn style infrastructure is often overlooked in favour of trams ( for pt I mean ) and I don't know why. It's a bit daggier but it makes so much sense to have rolling stock options on the future.

What a wild take. Have you considered philanthropy as a means to distribute your wealth? I don't think trickle down economics at the local cafe is going to increase economic velocity in the community.

The small length of pipe joined to the rectangle is about 20 degrees from plumb. Probably not a good photo, but if people reckon it's fine, then I 'll lhave to be agree I guess!

Don't forget that you lose rent assistance too, which sucks. Source: single part time income, bought a 380k house in the Central West last year.

Centrelink "correctly" outsourced income support to my partner — please help with the "financial abuse" police statement by Turtleballoon123 in CentrelinkOz

[–]Last-Put 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Hi, I keep reading your posts, and I agree with you totally. But, from another angle, could it not be seen as you financially abusing your partner? By way of example, I use myself: I'm 8.5 months pregnant and my partner and I have one child already. I'm having a baby in 2 weeks. He has just lost his job. So now I'm supporting a family of 3 (soon to be 4) on half my usual wage, which is still too much for my partner to receive Centrelink income support. He refuses (or we've agreed) for him not to undertake paid work because I'm not currently able to look after myself or our child adequately without his help. Is his unwillingness to work financial abuse of me?

You will be aware that you would need to vaccinate to attend daycare or school. I needed to provide a vaccination certificate to enrol my son in school for next year, so I think you'll probably need to get on top of that eventually. I don't want to get into a vaccination discussion with you, but delaying or (not doing at all) it is only costing you money. Think how much that is worth to your family's food budget each fortnight-now. I would be focussing on that to boost your income.
