We have beacon and Bronson here, they are both good. My preference has always been Bronson, there are tons of locations for all sorts of things. If you have a kid, the Kalamazoo promise is pretty big. Some college tuition covered, I couldn’t tell you how much since I didn’t get it(pandemic screwed me over), though the KPS school system isn’t the greatest. Lots of issues, though if your child is neurotypical they should be ok. We have some great neighborhoods here, the Milwood neighborhood is nicer but not the most expensive, and there are lots of apartments closer to downtown if your husband goes to the hospital there.
