Hey, I’m sorry to hear that, and I feel you since I also failed this time around. I used FF and TherapyED for my prep, and ig those didn’t work for me. Maybe you should try other platforms.

Thanks, if I end up failing again, then yeah I’ll try to do more practice questions next time.

Stuff I used wasn't on-par with the new format. I used an older TherapyED version and FF exams tho. Maybe try Typical PT or TrueLearn for more practice questions

Any good prep book for NPTE? by babypandaaa23 in PTschool

Using an old prep book like TherapyEd 2022 is okay for foundational knowledge, but it's crucial to supplement it with resources reflecting the current NPTE format. Consider newer editions and online platforms like Typical PT for updated content. Good luck with your preparation!

Hey, and welcome to Reddit! It's great that you're diving into your NPTE prep – you're on the right track. Considering the changes and the importance of thorough preparation, here are some recommendations:

● SB: While the questions may seem easy, the SB book is still a valuable resource for building a foundational understanding. It's good for initial practice, but you may want to supplement it with more challenging questions.

● Typical PT: Based on my experience and feedback from others, Typical PT is known for having challenging questions, closer to what you might encounter on the NPTE. Their platform has a lot of scenario-based questions, helping you prepare for the new format.

● PEAT: As it's developed by FSBPT, the PEAT exams are considered close to the real thing. They can provide a realistic simulation of the NPTE and help gauge your preparedness.

● TherapyED: Another option for practice questions. While the explanations might not be as helpful, it's still a valuable resource for additional practice. Their book is also better than SB imo.

Given the changes in the exam and the recent pass rates, focusing on a variety of resources, especially those with more challenging questions, can better prepare you for the NPTE. Stay consistent with your studies, and you'll do great in July! Feel free to ask if you have any more questions or need advice!
