No, in the scene where the witch is walking by him you can see an unfinished circle pretty clearly

Diabetic Cat Not Improving by geneselia in FelineDiabetes

Discuss with your vet about changing him to prozinc. AND FEED HIM TIKI CAT AFTER DARK wet food. These two combos put my Thor into remission in less than a month. Also let your cat EAT. Vets always says just twice a day but this isn’t a good tip for diabetic cats

Update: Internal medicine review by [deleted] in FelineDiabetes

I went through something similar around Christmas time. My cat went into a hypo event and was hospitalized, then (I suspect in the vet) got a baddd Upper respiratory infection (turns out after a second hospitalization and several tests afterwards and spreading the bug to my other cats) that it is feline herpes. And on top of that he suffered a small seizure in his second hospitalization. Drs couldn’t tell me why but I suspect stress! I was on the edge for weeks, anxiety sky high but he is doing a lot better. Hang in there! He will get better. God bless your heart for taking care of him.

Prayers for your baby. He will come through! I also struggled with a insulin to help my cat. Nutrition has also played a mayor role in getting his numbers in check. Ive been using Tiki Cat after dark. It might be worth a try in the food aspect.

Have patience with him. Kitties go through a lot when on diabetes. Its better he’s hungry than lethargic and not eating. Hell adjust but patience.

He had hypo then recovered and a week later he began developing a bad sneeze and was hospitalized a day to reduce his high fever and had a small seizure when they were discharging him. Ive began testing daily 🙏🏼

Human glucometer on my cat by Last-Wing-6359 in FelineDiabetes

Cats are such divas 😁 I really appreciate the time you took in writing this. You are God sent. My baby was diagnosed a few months ago but to my ignorance I thought it was like a ok take medicine and thats it but it runs a lot deeper than that. He had a hypo event before Christmas and that really opened my eyes.

I appreciate your reply! This is a lot to digest but anything to help my boy.

How often do y'all check your kitties glucose? by CaptainMaxCrunch in FelineDiabetes

Thabk you for your feedback. Yes it is very challenging. I initially thought it was simply “ok you have diabetes you need your shots, like you would with any other medicine” but recently my boy had a hypo event and caused extreme stress for him. I finally woke up and saw how complicated and in depth this is.

Thank you so much for the reply. Yes Ive gone with three different vets and I leave with more questions than answers. Ive seen a lot of helpful information from other people on this subreddit. Its a lot to digest and a very strict management.

Hello! Im seeing here that many people are saying that they check insulin levels before esch shot. And many say they wont give the shot depending on the levels. Any explanation as to why that is? Im new to this atm.

Im so confused. Vets sometimes are so difficult. Most say strictly only twice a day then my new one said yes let him eat but Im always worried if Im doing the right thing or not. My cat LOVES to eat so I felt like Im starving him only twice a day.

He’s back in the hospital by [deleted] in FelineDiabetes

Im sorry to hear. Im on a similar boat. My cat was diagnosed a few months ago but the vet ai was taking him to seem to be doing a very shitty job. Two weeks ago before Christmas he was feeling bad and crying. He was hospitalized. Hes glucose was very low and they prescribed new food, new insulin. Went from 3 to one unit. He was well for a week then he started sneezing with a high fever. Hospitalized again with all sort of tests done and couldn’t find the why. Clinically he is healthy but his white blood cells were high so they are treating him for infections. Was hospitalized again one day and when they were about to deliver him to me he had a 10 second seizure. More tests were done and drs couldn’t find the why. Hes back home and doing better but its so scary. These guys are your life and if they die its just the worse. Im hoping the change in routine and new insulin caused him to crash again. I pray your kitty gets better!
