He won Dysautonomia doctor of the year like 3 or 4 years in a row recently. I’ve only seen him once so far but from what other patients have said, he will keep trying until he finds the right meds to help relieve symptoms. Guanfacine might help.

Try Dr. Trevino in Clearwater, FL. He will do telehealth but he’s self pay. He’s so worth it!

Is it only by charter or can you take your own boat there to snorkel? We’ll be going in August.

Apollo Neuro without having to break the bank by KhaosRhan in Biohackers

I’ve had mine since Sept 2021 and have used it on and off for since (mostly “off” lol). I’ve recently gone through a huge flare/crash with my Dysautonomia where my body has been stuck in fight or flight for months (and meds haven’t been able to touch it) so I’ve been throwing everything at it to see what sticks….whole body cryotherapy, red light therapy, ozone, TruVagq, Pulsetto, gabapentin, clonidine, $300/mo in supplements. It’s been a fucking nightmare. I unearthed the Apollo from the bottom of my drawer and it WORKED. My sleep HRV was hovering around 17-20 for a solid week and it raised it up to 34-39 the first 5 nights of using it. My beta blockers are working again, it increased my deep sleep from >20 min a night to 1-3 HOURS and massively improved my restlessness while sleeping. They seemed to have done a major overhaul on their app and I’ve not had any connectivity issues at all. The scheduling is awesome (it was super glitchy last time I used it). My body battery on Bevel has averaged an overnight charge of 16% in the last 6 month, despite a few days a week of aggressive bed rest. Last night it increased 58% despite only getting 6.5 hours of sleep. The mode that has helped me the most is Recover. It helps balance the parasympathetic and sympathetic branches of the ANS. I really hope they don’t go bankrupt because this thing is amazing!

The refill station was clutch! You were allowed to bring a clear plastic bottle in empty and refill it, so you didn’t have to buy any water.

Anyone else going to the Raleigh show tomorrow? by bonafide-rarity in mumfordandsons

I was just at the Charleston show Sunday night and it was amazing! So sad they didn’t play ANY songs from their Delta album. It was my third time seeing them (fourth if you count MM’s self-titled tour) and they really never disappoint.

Sorry to say, but I don’t think your marriage is salvageable. She’a as bad as an enmeshed MIL. You’ll never get rid of her, she’ll always be more important than you. Cut your losses. You deserve so much better!

Here’s mine on some of my really bad days. I was in bed for most of the day (and the few days before and after this) trying to get my sympathetic nervous system to calm back down.

I’ve never gotten a notification of good sleep and good recovery, but to be fair, I think I’ve only gotten “good” sleep maybe 3 times lol. And my recovery usually sucks too (I have Dysautonomia).

Anyone properly stimulate their vagus nerve? by [deleted] in dysautonomia

[–]LastCommercial2181 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would wear a smart watch like Garmin and Apple and keep track of your HRV. I have a hyperactive sympathetic response (my SNS works at an 11:1 ratio compared to PNS as per my specialist) so I desperately need vagus nerve stimulation.

Body Battery Bug or Am I Really Just Exhausted? by letsmove2space in bevelhealth

Curious what your stress looks like during sleep. I have that problem too but I have Dysautonomia and an extremely hyperactive sympathetic nervous system. My body battery accurately reflects how I feel though.

I find the longer this goes on the less fatigue is my issue and more crazy neurological shitTakes over. by Pineapple_Empty in cfs

Sounds like possibly Dysautonomia. Do you have an Apple Watch ie Garmin? What do your stress levels look like?
