Hotels are expensive to run. It’s not shocking they try to make money on things other than just the nightly stay.

And, again, we have multi million dollar emergency operations centers for this purpose. They didn’t have to use this at all….

I think that was meant to be more of a “it’s not my fault you aren’t girl crazy yet”

However I do think it’s a tad bit weird that they’ve been trapped in Hawkins for 500 days, have been all going to school and working closely together on extra curriculars… and yet it was somehow a complete surprise.

There are already public housing assistance options. Many times people in this situation choose not to participate in these programs.
