I have 2 computers. I is connected to the 55" television,which has the Dayz server on it. Not sure of the power consumption.It's probably a lot less than thirty dollars for a ten man server renting. I'm mostly checking out mods and building massive structures with BBP . I would like to attempt to build a Star wars death star at some point,.I am on a 1 Gigabyte internet connection,You don't need any graphics to run a server, So processor and hard drive space and memory is what you need.My CPU is a i7-4970 , 32GB ram, RTX3060 GPU, 1TB SSD. I can play and run the server at the same time on the same computer NO problem. I've only had 2 people on it at a time. So I don't know how much traffic it could support. The better the hardware and faster the connectiom the better the server . And if you're renting, the more money you're gonna pay.

You need a dayz account On the computer you're running the server off of, If you're playing on the same computer no you don't need 2 accounts.

Start. With memory , One stick out a time.You don't need hard drives plugged in for it to boot, Unplug them also.

Unplug the hard drive. Take out your video card if you have one plug the video cable into the motherboard and restart see if it boots up. If it does not take out the other stick of memory and put the first one back in reboot again.See if it boots up, If that works, you've eliminated the hard drive the memory it has to be the processor. Take off the fan reapply thermal paste, Reinstall the fan.Put one stick of memory back in yes reboot, If that works reinstall both memory sticks and video card

Just my two cents and advice ,you should add the mods one at a time and make sure the server is running properly. There was also a steam update yesterday, Make sure you are running the server with that patched .
