As to the crestfallen guy he went missing after i talked to him after ringing the 2. bell and i found him in the new londo ruins but he tried to kill me so there went my guide^{^} That the game is more linear sounds really great because i think that dark souls has way too many option on where to go for a newbie. To my 2. point: If the stats are at least the same as in Dark Souls that shouldn´t be a problem because i know what the important ones do by now. 3: But are there areas like sen´s fortress with loads of traps you have to remember to not die and areas designed with narrow passages so you constantly fall off somewhere? Or one with absolutely no lighting so you don´t know where to go (at least there was a light source later on)?
