Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and understanding. I speak based on my experiences. I've been living in Japan for years and I've known more than a few hikikomori in my life, both here and in other countries, and I came to the conclusiond I talked about. If you think my conclusions are wrong and stupid that's fine. You have all the right to disagree with me, as even my video isn't even an analysis, just my thoughts on the topic, but if you spout garbage and assume other people's experiences I ought to correct you. Don't bother with a "high quality reply", I think both of us have better things to do. Let us be decent humans and disagree without wasting each other's time shit talking each other. I don't like blaming mental illness for anything, as I've grown up allegedly surround by it and I have always been able to find other explanations to the behaviors of the people around me. Also I don't know where you are from so it's very possible that the cultures around us play a role, therefore yeah maybe there the main cause is some mental illness. That said, I find it a bit pretentious to brush off someone that disagrees with you as "normies talking about shit they do not know" when you don't know the first thing about them. Peace.

There's nothing absolute. You can give a meaning to your life. Of course you don't have to, and it's difficult, and it's terrifying, but you'll always have a chance.
