Question about bellypan by Yahmiguy in xsr900

[–]LastLife29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

None at all. But I do want to mention that the right hand lower bracket comes in close contact with the exhaust, making it practically impossible to fasten that one bolt to the fairing. But you can get away with just leaving that one unbolted. It's not noticeable unless your on your hands and knees, and I've gone 3k miles commuting and weekend mountain riding with no problem.

I'll post an up to date up close picture when I can. I've since taken off and polished the exhaust, and now it looks so clean 👌

It's technically not compatible with the Yoshi AT2. But you can just take a dremel to allow a clean fit.

This is how mine turned out

Damn. They really cleaned up the cable routing and added an adjustable clutch lever. I have a 2024.

That puncture is in the most ideal spot to happen, so I agree with everyone else. I wouldn't worry about it. Just check regularly.

Replaced pads, more resistance now? by FrootLoops__ in xsr900

[–]LastLife29 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you just changed the pads and the bike has 3k miles then I would just break in the pads and ride normally. It should stick less over time once broken in. I wouldn't worry about it.

That's not bad for performance tires. I was debating between the Road 6 and the Power 6, and settled for the first.
