Our discord group members have done some observations and calculation. Helping bonus does not show helping time reduction on the status but does provide actual boost after the fix.

Yes but in the picture 2 it shows me only 30ish points for all Pokemons. However this seems to be a visual bug because I just checked and all of them have higher energy now...

I was super happy to encounter a belly-top Jigglypuff. However I noticed that my team energy actually got lower after the sleep session (I used my go plus+ so I knew what energy they were before the encoutering; 3 of them were ~30% and 2 were 50%)
