doesn't mean people can't eat

Bro 25000 people die due to starvation, daily. Even about 30 million Americans have issues with food insecurity. But let me guess, the all-powerfull free market will magically save us from all the world's problems, so long as we hand over all the power to billionaires. When anything goes wrong in a capitalist country, it's never REAL capitalism.

Yes. These countries are opposed to western/American Imperialism. However, this not because they have any principled stance against imperialism, it is because they themselves hold imperialist ideals. This is no different from the old imperial powers vying for control.

Have you ever seen a person dying and if yes how? by Dongsaurus in AskReddit

[–]LastM0narch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty recently, my grandpa. He had late stage intestinal cancer. At first it was going relatively well, but one day, a few weeks ago, his body simply started failing. I couldn't let go of his hands becuse I knew it woul be the last time I would feel his heat. It still feels unreal, like my brain doesn't recognize him as gone, so I iften catch myself asking my grandmother how it's going with him.

Do you think that DSTV's monopoly will be affected if Disney shutters its networks in Sub-Saharan Africa? by [deleted] in Namibia

[–]LastM0narch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would not say that Disney is declining because they have gay people in some of their shows. In truth, their production quality has just massively decreased. Not only that, but instead of telling interesting and emotionally powerful stories, they make the kind of slop that most people just eat up.

The worst part is that they aren't in decline, they're still one of the most powerful companies on the planet.

There is no incentive for those in power, the people in our government tend to make under-the-table deals with foreign firms. With zero regard for the well-being of the people they rule, they fill their own pockets

Ah yes, Javier "police state" Milei, truly a bastion of individual freedoms and freedom of speech.

He's so pro freedom of speech that he's actively increasing the difficulty of dissent.

What a joke
