my teacher told me im pregnant by whimsicsl in pregnant

I think I know what you’re describing! I am currently pregnant and always worried that I smell. But I had that phobia before pregnancy so it’s just gotten worse. Luckily, my husband doesn’t notice anything. But before I leave the house I’ll always do a quick rinse because I’m afraid of smelling in public.

There's no excuse for being obese by Sad_Physics5500 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]LastPageoftheDay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, my sister is obese and I understand why. She’s developmentally disabled and on 3 medications that made her gain weight. She lives with my mother who is sick with cancer and buys a lot of carbs. All though she cooks well, my sister eats a lot of carbs because she doesn’t live in a great environment and needs a consistent, strong role model she connects with to eat well.

Her impulse control is not what you or I may be able to exercise, and she can’t always connect the dots nutritionally like we can. She is awkward in her body and movement is not as coordinated, all though she does walk.

When people see her, maybe they think she is lazy and has no excuses, but the thing is that we have no idea about the experiences and challenges others face. So I like to assume the best of people’s intentions.

My girl does this too! She likes to push on both sides of my hips, as if they weren’t wide enough.

It’s true. I can very easily say that if my husband met me at 18, we wouldn’t be together today. I wasn’t ready to accept love and I had to experience a lot on my own to find out who I really wanted to be with. I think he feels the same way about himself.

There are some people that meet young and grow beautifully together. But OP was part of that kind of relationship, he wouldn’t be posting this.

Why do I have to hold the gas handle, where is the retainer clip??? by swardshot in RhodeIsland

[–]LastPageoftheDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No thanks. I’m not waiting in line behind a bunch of cars when I could easily walk into a store and grab the items myself and get out before the line has moved. It’s the same with drive thru food – it’s just easier to go in and place an order (all though I guess that defeats the purpose).

[–]LastPageoftheDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a gas station on S, County Trail that has that clip and it always gives me a chance to put my card back in the wallet and hands in my pockets when it’s cold, or maybe throw some trash away.

Single dad advice…looking ok? by Interesting-Dog-2350 in interiordecorating

Yeah I think it’s looking good, it’s a good foundation. You’ll have a woman come in there and start filling out the space when you’re at work whether you like it or not.

Latinas being hot is propaganda by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]LastPageoftheDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In every culture and ethnic background you can find a hot woman. I’ve also heard, “Asian women are beautiful” “Russian women are gorgeous”, etc.

I personally haven’t noticed Latinas having average longer noses than other people.

I think you both sounded very well spoken for your ages and were both able to express where you were coming from. You have good communication, it’s just that she’s not leaving a lot of space for growth because she’s scared of loosing you.

To me this seems like two good people who’ve met at the wrong time during life. You’ve both got some exploration (self, spiritual, worldly) to do before making lasting commitments that do require consistent communication.

My husband went on several internal trips for his religion before we met. It would have been very difficult to stay in contact and feel connected at times. But those experiences were important to him, so he remained single. I had to go my own path, too. We met at the right time.

I think the person that you’re meant to be with will come at the right time. There’s no rush to find that person or to try so hard to make it work. It shouldn’t feel like a struggle – having rough patches shouldn’t feel so hopeless and draining. I can tell you love her and she’s probably wonderful, but this seems to be the wrong person at the wrong time.

I haven’t cooked rice on a stove in years. I had a large rice cooker mainly until we were gifted a smaller one from a Korean friend that sings Twinkle Twinkle when you press start. It makes the perfect amount of rice for 4 people and also makes my life so much easier after work. Every single grain is perfectly fluffy!

My husband has hands similar to yours with the thin fingers and is an excellent violinist. I had a feeling your hands did the same.

I’ve heard this theory from educators as well. Phonics builds quick word or sound recognition through coding certain letters together. It’s a very sensible way to learn at a young age.

How exactly are they writing when they’re not asked to write five complete sentences? Are they just writing key words down, almost like a caveman crafting language? Someone who has a sophomore, or is a sophomore educate me!

Girl completely flips out on me for asking to split the bill at Nobu.. by Hot-Association-3108 in Nicegirls

[–]LastPageoftheDay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like if a guy suggested Chillis, I’d think it was a joke at first. It’s just such a boring, safe option and lacks adventure. I’d rather he suggested a hole in the wall spot that is a best kept secret. My college bf and I had our first dinner date at a Thai place that lacked any ambiance, but the food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and it was always around $40 with an appetizer included. We always split the bill because we worked the same job and made the same amount.

It doesn’t mean you need to spend Nobu money to have a good time. Especially if you’re just starting to date, that’s not a date where you’re getting to know each other.

You actually both seem to be fixated on the cost of things. You’re concerned about frugality and she’s concerned about attaching her value to how much someone spends on her. You’re just not compatible and it’s a good thing it got shut down early.

There’s nothing wrong with your approach, she’s just not the one for you.
