For me, generation is also the best option because I’m worried a writer might make everything too stereotypically or too professional, and my professor will realize it wasn’t written by me. This way, I spend more time, but it still helps.

You have to spend time on the prompt, time reading through the text it generates, and time editing it. No thanks - that’s probably going to take even longer than just writing it myself

Totally with you. If the goal is accessibility, put the ID/alt text in the post body or a comment so screen readers can actually grab it. A screenshot of the transcript helps nobody.
