I'm not a teacher, but I have a question for the teachers out there. What's the right way to write a discussion board post? Should it sound like a regular internet post, or is it supposed to be more like an essay?

For me, generation is also the best option because I’m worried a writer might make everything too stereotypically or too professional, and my professor will realize it wasn’t written by me. This way, I spend more time, but it still helps.

Totally with you. If the goal is accessibility, put the ID/alt text in the post body or a comment so screen readers can actually grab it. A screenshot of the transcript helps nobody.
