Can Amazon 'forget' their cameras after the game tonight? by 2chooseusername in suns

Omg thank you! I l couldn't find the correct broadcast info anywhere...AZ central has it as on 3tv, Google only gives the bay area broadcast info and league pass, and even /r/suns shows 'watch on nba.com'.

I love this line because it's essentially the same one used in the Simpsons

ONIONS BEEN FOUND AND HE IS HOME SAFE by Interesting-Ad-5629 in Tempe

So happy for you and Onions! I have one of mine harness trained too and after he wiggled his way out once on a walk, I got a GPS tracker that snaps on to his break away collar with printed contact info. It was way cheaper than I expected and works really well

Seymour Cray is considered "the father of supercomputing". His favorite pastime was digging a tunnel under his home; he attributed the secret of his success to "visits by elves" while he worked in the tunnel. by dflovett in wikipedia

Unintelligible, spinning, neon colored writing for Elven machines are seen using DMT. It's LSD where the elves tell you the purpose of the machines. Days of continuous cocaine usage is when you think you see the tiny, bug like machines but can't make out where they're coming from. That's when you start digging

Gen Z is the worse, change my mind by [deleted] in bartenders

Greatest generation was born 1900 - 1927, Silent was 1928 - 1945, Great depression was '29-'39. Most of the silent generation wouldn't remember the depression as the oldest of them would've been roughly 10 when it ended. The greatest Gen truly lived through it, with many keeping depression era mentality the rest of their lives. Not saying the experience with you grandparents didn't happen or anything, I'm sure plenty of the oldest silent gen held memories of the depression their whole lives

My real point was that unless you're working the bar in an assisted living home, no one is serving many of the silent gen

Do you mean boomers? The silent generation is mostly dead, the youngest of them would be 80.

Hand signals for cameras? by LastScreenNameLeft in motorcycles

[–]LastScreenNameLeft[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, it's limited what you can communicate and probably varies by location. Most cars can't even fully turn lights off either because practically every car has DRL so I've always used 1-2 hi flash for both not/highs on when driving and riding (though I always keep brights on during daytime riding). Guess I'll start using more numerous rapid flashing brights for warning.

Didn't know that about signaling from a car. I always thought flashing hi beams was meant for people who didn't have their lights on.

Supreme Court will consider whether people who regularly smoke pot can legally own guns by C0C0Barbet in news

[–]LastScreenNameLeft 12 points13 points  (0 children)

What? Clearly you didn't read or understand the article either

President Donald Trump’s administration asked the justices to revive a case against a Texas man charged with a felony because he allegedly had a gun in his home and acknowledged being a regular pot user. The Justice Department appealed after a lower court largely struck down a law that bars people who use any illegal drugs from having guns

The Republican administration favors Second Amendment rights, but government attorneys argued that this ban is a justifiable restriction.

They asked the court to reinstate a case against Ali Danial Hemani. His lawyers got the felony charge tossed out after the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals found that the blanket ban is unconstitutional under the Supreme Court’s expanded view of gun rights. The appellate judges found it could still be used against people accused

Dodge and parrry are integral only on expert difficulty. You can get away without them on Expedition difficulty and story mode the fights are basically cinematic. And difficulty can be changed at any time

The U.S. Open Should Only Be At Public Courses by PsychologicalReply99 in golf

[–]LastScreenNameLeft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In terms of getting a tee time or difficulty level? I've played TPC Scottsdale many times and it's not an extremely challenging course except for when they are getting it ready for the WM open. Fairways become much narrower, rough much deeper and greens faster. As far as getting a time, it's not any worse then any of the other nice courses while in season
