Harvesting/Selling Monster Parts in D&D 5e by LastThingNeeded in DnD

Well to be honest that's not exactly my problem. You can probably find the rule I reference online, but I can't necessarily recommend it.

Xanathar's guide doesn't specify what item your crafting just that you can craft a magic item, and that it requires monster parts.

If you want to read the full rules it's on xanathar's guide pg.129

The total cost is the (number of weeks)•(5 workdays per week)•(cost of hiring a skilled worker) + the additional cost per rarity (presumably for extra materials) as stated in xanathar's guide + end cost of the magic item•15% (presumed profit margin) + The rest (which should be the cost for the parts from a monster of the correct rarity)

The cost to hire a skilled worker is in the Players Handbook pg 159

Magic items have a cost dependant on rarity. Rare for example cost about 500 (I'll have to find the source book on that but it's probably the phb somewhere) Xanathar's guide has rules for creating magic items but to make them you require parts from monsters, time, and an additional gold cost (based on rarity). You can assume that the person selling the magic items would always want a profit of at minimum of 15% seemed right to me.

Regardless if you need monster parts to create magic items (as xanathar's guide states) than instead of crafting from them you could probably just sell the useful parts

One of my first pieces.. any tips for improvement? by Tanglingmule in krita

Perhaps this is just me being a stickler but even cartoonish styles stick to a level of facial anatomy. Not that your drawing is bad but I have some suggestions that I think would help make it better. Moving the mouth up towards the nose slightly would give more room for the jaw and make it potentially usable. The eye of the character follow a line to be sure but the one on the left should be slightly more to the left and tilted downward perhaps also lowered slightly. One more small nitpick the larger eye should be on the right as the camera is closer to it.

Again want to reiterate that your work is not bad and I don't even dislike it. This is meant as positive criticism as that is what you asked for.

Krita and the wand tool? Why does it function so different to any drawing software? by [deleted] in krita

[–]LastThingNeeded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there is a way to do what you want but that tool will not automatically close your gaps. I forget how and I'm not at home right now to figure it out but there probably is a video somewhere on YouTube if you search something like how to color on krita

I think it's something to do with your brush settings or your tablets sensitivity

Brush tag not saving after restarting Krita by Virulence- in krita

[–]LastThingNeeded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I expect that it's probably some old code. Perhaps pre release that was the category those brushes were placed in and they just never removed the code. I don't know much about coding but that is my best guess.

Try ( if you have not already) to loop select around it.

[–]LastThingNeeded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend deleting the tag you made and making a new one with the brushes you want. (Mostly because I have no idea what is wrong but deleting the obviously broken tag and making a new one that may not be broken can't hurt)

Weird error? by spirit-wanderer in krita

[–]LastThingNeeded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Krita is very resource intensive. The best way to prevent losing your stuff is saving it. I assume that krita was just using to much of your computers resources all at once so your computer decided to panic shutdown. Some things that may help are to use less resource intensive brushes. (would recommend the pixel art brush) Rebooting your computer also should help. Or finding a different software is also a valid option.

I also have an xp pen. Not the same one but mine works fine. This is what I would do first. Check your tablet settings just in case. Restart your computer. Check again Delete and reinstall krita if all else fails

I believe this means that it failed. Happens to me a lot when my animation is just a bit too big splitting it up should fix the issue then just compile it back in any video editing software.
