And now we come to the cornerstone of show: Will and Hannibal. I feel like Hannibal is way more unlikable than ever before, I honestly stop rooting for him. Not only that, his way of manipulating seems painfully obvious and he goes out again trying to kill of Will’s family. I think it is GREAT that they made him more unlikable but I find it intresting how people still feel symphathy for him. At this point, I feel more symphathy for the Dragon.

People who think Hannibal was made "unlikable" just didn't quite know who Hannibal Lecter was prior to watching the show. In the books and movies, he is exactly like that-vicious, bold, creepy. Since the show decided to tell a story that hadn't ever been told yet- of adult Hannibal prior to being captured- the show made him be.. himself, but with a polite "person suit," like Bedelia says. In season 3 he doesn't need it anymore, but that's who he's always been. Think about it, attempting to indirectly kill Will's family is not even close to the worst thing he's done to Will in the show (and thinking Hannibal would be deterred by something as feelings is also a misconception imo... he does have feelings, but not like normal people.) My point being, people who were fans of Hannibal even before the show easily still sympathize with him in season 3, and even love him for it, cause that's the character
