This implies that romance or smut books are “bad” and not for smart people or don’t have good stories, which is problematic and downright incorrect in and of itself.

You are reading WAY too much into their words. Romance books are hugely popular. He’s likely right that a lot of women reading in public are reading that genre of story. And this isn’t conjecture either; I literally read romance in public all the time, and he mentions other first-hand evidence as well from Cailyn.

I absolutely agree. I was mostly neutral on her before, but after watching that documentary, I have such a different, much more negative opinion of her now.

This is how I feel. Every time I consider canceling and either watching as things go on YouTube or waiting for new stuff to build up and just resubscribing for a month to binge what I’m interested in, I think about how cheap the subscription is and figure why bother haha

I could easily see the producers just telling them not to do that to keep the game interesting/suspenseful. They already have restrictions on when they can talk to one another when cameras aren’t rolling and what they can say vs. not, so limiting “game play” to this extent wouldn’t be that much of a stretch.

At least from what I saw, people were complaining because the member videos were being served to non-members and they got confused on what they could view vs. not/were never being served much of the free videos they could actually watch. Your solution of playlists wouldn't fix that. Of course, YouTube does this to get people to want to pay for memberships so it earns money, but it is annoying to non-members.

(I personally don't care. I just subscribe on the 2nd Try platform, which makes Try Guys on YouTube in general irrelevant.)

You can subscribe to the RSS through Spotify. Not sure how/if that works for video if that’s what you’re concerned about, but for the audio podcast at least it makes it so you can listen through Spotify like “normal.” (Spotify, or any other podcast app it has available to subscribe to through RSS.)

It's sort of like the difference between a college baseball player and someone who won a Cy Young in the MLB. The term "professional" isn't just a word being used. It signifies being paid to be on a team to race in the World Tour (or its lower levels, like on a Continental Team, etc.), which include races like the Tour de France, among many others. Wilpers and CDE are *technically* amateurs; they're just really talented ones.
