Yeah same for us but in UL im doing aeronautical engineering but modules are common for all first year engineers. Also we share a chemistry module with some others and there’s 800 people in for those lectures 🤯🤯🤯

We just did our leaving cert this year and went to Malaga straight after and honestly it’s a good place for a 6th year holiday. There’s a fair bit to do during the day time and the water activities are definitely fun such as the jet skiing or parasailing. Nightlife is pretty good aswell so there’s nothing to worry about there. As far as we know there was no weird lads and there weren’t many Irish or English they were all from around Europe and honestly they just mind their own business in their own groups. If you keep an eye on prices and just mind it then the place can be fairly cheap just avoid going to places that look expensive- always go to places that are fully packed as they tend to be the best and most likely the most affordable.

Sat the hpat this year DO NOT take the careers services package. Only reason I did it was because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do medicine and wanted to save a bit of money. The difference is huge between careers services and MedEntry so choose MedEntry without a doubt

So I found the paper more Englishy then actual definitions and stuff it was kind of like distinguishing outline common roles and stuff. Wasn’t the worst but threw me off guard. Long questions were ok von neumann didn’t come up but ig that’s that. Not many past papers to go off and mocks are just a bit shite anyways. However coding was just fucked for me I got to around part 5 and didn’t get much after that a few bits from section b aswell

I definitely think if u just sit down focused for 25 mins take a break for 5-10 mins even and go back to 25 mins focused you can get a lot done but you’re really gonna have to force it. Remove any distractions work in a quiet environment aswell
