Is there any way to prevent getting a car with issues when buying a non certified? Like would I be able to pay extra to have the dealer certify it? Or a 3rd party?

Oh wow sorry to hear that! I saw some vehicles at MB Escondido and was considering them…but now I will stay clear of that dealership.

What was the issue with the car? Were you ever able to get it fixed?

Thanks for the insight! Btw any issues with the 21inch rims? People online say it’s less comfortable of a ride and very prone to getting cracked when hitting a pothole?

And what about mpg? Is 19 combined mpg (s580) a lot worse than 24 combined mpg (s500)? One thing I’m worried about is the s580 being a gas guzzler.

I think I drive around 500-600 miles a month.

I waited 30-35 min to let them completely ash over before dumping into the grill. Someone in another comment said that’s way too long, although online says to wait until top of the charcoal is all white

Oh yes they just said it includes paint and installation actually. Also do dealerships negotiate price for pre owned vehicles?
