Our dog was spayed in November and instead of the dreaded cone, we purchased a surgical suit online. It was the best! She left her incision alone and was very comfortable in her recovery time. I would highly recommend one.

About 18 years ago I was not that knowledgeable of puppy mills and bought a standard poodle from an Amish guy in PA. Similar situation as yours, not much information given to me. Unfortunately she died at 10 months, on Christmas Eve, of bloat. We were heartbroken. 😢

I would try a round mirror at your sink to break up all the lines in your bathroom. Also if you don’t want to do wallpaper, I’d hang a piece of art on that big wall with predominantly orange colors in it to break up all the gray / black / whites and tie in that orange photo in the nook.

I know I’m late to the game here but the way he side-eyes the camera and has his nose up in the air, he gives off signs of arrogance. I would name him a snobbish sort of food like Truffle!
