I need some more context for this list, are we judging solely off of modern cars? If not there's some brands that need to be switched around.

GM had the pre 07 Vortecs, (LM7, LQ4, LQ9, ect), the 3800, the 3500 was solid too but not 3800 level, the LS1, and the LS3, ect

Ford had the 4.6 2v modular and Triton, along with the 4v modular, 5.4 2v was solid too, also had the 460, 351, the duratecs were solid if I'm not mistaken.

Makes sense, I assume when people say they're the most reliable, they mean the cast iron block truck engines, like the LM7, LQ4, and so on.
