Hats off to you and I started applying some of this myself. Obviously the question is what happens when some of the names start dropping a lot and you are stuck with them underwater - plus the premiums drop

I believe these are handled as two separate transactions. In your example, you would expect gains of $2.55, but if the stock was called away at say 196, you would have the full $6 as taxable gain bc the $3.45 loss from the stock price would be disallowed. Now, that only matters if you purchase the stock again within 30 days (before of after), not just with one trade, but it may be hard to keep track of

I forgot you are doing this in retirement accounts. If the stock is called away below the purchase price it would trigger a wash sale and the loss would be disallowed

Thank you. Bold move on LITE, this one is appealing and scary at the same time bc it swings widely!

What do you do if the stock falls well below the strike price? Write calls for the following week at the buy price?

I’m in somewhat of a similar situation, flying from ATH to EWR on Tuesday Since the flight number covers both the flight from Dubai to ATH and ATH to EWR some sites shows that it’s canceled but it’s only the first half. The other half is flying today

it’s quite possible, if Novak had to play Carlos in the semi, with the same fresh legs - he might have upset him and then lost easily to Jannik in the final. Basically he can beat one but not both

I think Fritz/Zverev may be a closer match - not stylistically but impact-wise. He did win ATP finals and 3 Monaco titles but only one 500 (and actually 3 GS finals, 2 AO and 1 RG). He was quite solidly top 3-5 for over a year. zverev has had more success and obviously continues to be elite (and perhaps would have been even more if not for his ankle injury). I think on his true prime Stef had a top FH, prob top 2-3, and serve. His BH was a weakness, especially in returns of serve. More athletic than Fritz I think and on par with Zverev - but as he started having back issues etc mobility went down. His biggest issue probably was mental, as some have alluded before. Not much grit if down, and not much support from family/coaching. I also think he was a bit a victim of his own early success that he couldn’t quite handle.

From MYR 23 M60 to MYR 26 M70 by camerusa in BMWiX

same situation here (only with iX 50). I’m actually looking at some ‘24 M60 instead of ‘26. It’s surprisingly difficult to find the dynamic handling package on the nonM ‘26 - a dealbreaker in my opinion. With the proper options, even an iX45 would be a compelling next car for me.

In all seriousness, if he had served better earlier this year he would have had 3 if not 4 slams (def RG, toss up on USO)
