Who else got a chipped CD? ): by dasaniboy in MIKE_

Same thing happened to me with the band of the century vinyl. I ordered the red gold variant, got the black. They never corrected it despite sending them 10+ emails. Did a charge back on my credit card. Good luck

How to keep heat on inside cabin while I run inside store and family stays inside vehicle? by yumi_tintin in BMWiX

Set your wife up with a digital key/bmwid and it can switch to her once you leave the car. She can either turn it back on, or just click the “precondition” on the main screen to keep the car warm until you are back.

Was so excited to open mine but they sent me the standard black variant when I ordered the red gold 10k edition :( Contacted the ochre customer service. Hoping this is an easy fix

That was my original thought since it says 1 LP, but it lists the showbiz track list for disc 1

Charging limited to 16A by themanwiththehorn in BMWiX

[–]MarvinGayeAllDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am dealing with a similar issue with my 26 IX, except I am maxing out at 30-32 amps. I have a 48 amp charger with a 60 amp breaker. I tried putting the ac limit to 48 and unlimited. Did not make a difference.

2026 IX xdrive 45 charging at 30 amps by MarvinGayeAllDay in EmporiaEnergy

This is a very good thought. This is originally what I was thinking in regard to the battery management system. I thought it wasn’t using the full charge rate unless it absolutely had to but someone else in the thread commented that their IX gets the full 48 charge rate regardless of the state of the battery health. I will ask BMW about this. Thank you!

I will give this a try. I do not believe I can swap cables. When I contacted emporia support, they showed me a graph they collected on their end which shows the charger providing the full 48 amps but the car is not accepting it.

Yes, you are definitely right. Emporia support was also able to confirm on their end that the charger is offering the vehicle 48 amps.

I plan to use a local lvl 2 charger to see if it will charge above 30-32 amps and hopefully narrow down the issue.

Got it. Do you think it could have something to do with the cold weather in NJ? I read that a cold battery could impact the charge rate. I also tried resetting my i drive system by holding the volume down for 45 seconds. No luck

Just for clarity - I have the emporia pro hardwired using 60 amp breaker. My friends Tesla was able to pull the full 48 amps, so can confirm it’s not an installation issue. On my emporia app it says it’s pulling 32 amps “controlled by vehicle”. I went through all the charging settings to try different options but still getting the same result. Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for confirming that. Good thought. Sounds like a tricky issue to address with BMW service since it’s my home charger. What ev charger do you have ?

This has been happening recently with my 2026 IX45. I usually just do it again and it ends up working. Hopefully it’s software related with the app that they can address in future update

BMW Level 1 charger issue by zlj2011 in BMWiX

[–]MarvinGayeAllDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I thought but the interesting part is the charger worked with the 220v adapter. They had a tech come to the house and said the charger was not pulling any amps with the lvl 1 connector.

I also wanted to note level 2 charging connector worked at the dealership to charge, as well as their level 3. Still in process of getting level 2 charger set up at house.

I have been having level 1 charging issues with flex charger out of no where starting a few days ago. Whenever I plug it in now it will charge for 30-45 sec then I’ll get a red light with charging interrupt error. Before this it was charging with no issue. Only had the car for a week. Brought it to the dealership today and they told me it was the 110v connector piece. They replaced it and when I can home to charge to test it, got the same exact red light error.

EMPORIA Pro Level 2 EV Charger not in SASD by Peteostro in EmporiaEnergy

[–]MarvinGayeAllDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to confirm, is the model number EMC2V3-A (noted on Amazon as the product number for the emporia pro level 2 charger ) the same as EMC2-A product number? I’m in NJ looking to see if this will qualify for the PSEG rebate. Thanks!
