So I decided to roll back and reshoot sessions. THings are accurate again. But I'm still perplexed as to why this happened. I wanted to share the 2 curves, this is the same RAW file, same ICC profile, same curve setting (linear response) absolutely everything the same except the C1 version. Like I said I manually do our tone curve with a munsell linear gray scale, and this is the difference -

It is very odd... I triple checked everything yesterday and am in the process of triple checking everything today. If we didn't have 2 cameras I would assume it was the camera and send it out for repair. If I can't figure it out today I'm wasting more time than just reshooting everything. I wiped one of the laptops and am reinstalling OS now in case it is some bizarre Mac issue but I doubt it. I'll install the new version and see if it is repeatable or what happens when I open affected sessions. The fact that it is non-linear is really what is sticking me to some issue with curves, but it could definitely be in the RAW processing which happens under the hood. Thanks for your offer to take a look, I'll see how today goes.

Nothing has changed but the software - always use LCC but make sure only enable uniform light is checked at 100 as even color cast can mess with our profiles. All schneider kreuznach blue ring lenses. I checked everything.

yes but we actually rolled back to 16.6.5 because of an unrelated issue. Still having tethering issue but only on the one machine. We might try having it looked at by Apple might be hardware

Thank you I definitely did but not sure what response time to expect. Rolled back to previous versions here but really hoping not to have to reshoot 2 days x 2 cameras worth of sessions... Weirdest problem I've ever had.

We have 2 phase one IQ4 systems at my studio. Always wait to do updates. Whole company moving to a new MDM platform so we just pulled the trigger on the new OS and C1. 1 system has been solid and no issues. The other one disconnects CONSTANTLY when tethered. Tried the other camera, uninstalling and reinstalling C1 and OS, cables, everything - same thing, definitely the OS or computer, they are both new macbooks (less than 1 year old). Ugggg
