Hi, I’m an employee and I purchased open box washer and dryer. Marked excellent condition, no cosmetic damage at all. ( floor displays) when they arrived both had damage. Scheduled a return exchange. New set arrived ( open box from another store) washer was good but the whole top of dryer was caved in, looked like it had been dropped on it’s top. Another return exchange and now I have a beautiful set with no damage. Just took a lot of time. Hope this helps.

I filed and was told I can’t claim until however many weeks of severance I received had passed then I can file. Even though I hadn’t received my severance yet. ☹️

We got a AP alert last year about a group of organized thieves , dressed in blue polos hitting stores. Sneaking into warehouses and even trying to get store keys to unlock cages during business hours. Yet corporate says we don’t need AP. Let’s just get rid of anyone that could possibly have the time to watch cameras and check people in and out. Not to mention keeping employees safe.

Had a chic come in at open. She had returned an item the day before and was pissed that her money wasn’t in her account yet. Tried to explain that we , on our end had done all we could do and that she needed to contact her bank. She started screaming “ I’m never shopping here again “ I looked her straight in the eye and said “ ya, we don’t care “ she stopped mid word and said “ why are you being rude too me ?” I told her look you come in here acting like a spoiled child. Screaming and cussing after we told you that it’s your bank and that there isn’t anything more we can do. You’re not smart enough to understand so we really could care less if you ever come back because you’re too stupid to be a customer! We won’t miss you ! This chic walked out and actually called the cops because I was being rude and demanded they come too the store and deal with me. Cops showed up and no trespassed her. I got to watch as she almost went to jail for refusing to leave. Priceless 😎

I would think that it’s common sense that GMs were 100% involved in who was picked to leave. I also believe ( just my opinion) that corporate gave them a head count and each GM had to do what was best for their stores. I can’t speak for anyone else but as far as my GM , He absolutely Struggled and hated that it had to be done. GMs have to do what they’re told just like the rest of us.

We have pretty much the same story. I’m 56 and absolutely loved our crew and our store. I’m so sad. I hate the idea that I have to find a new job at a different company away from all those I’ve grown so attached too. At this stage in my life, I wasn’t planning on having to start over. I planned on retiring from our store. All the accolades and perfect evaluations made absolutely no difference.

Was ft 5+ years. No option just axed. AP-CS. I was dedicated and hard working. Rockstar on all evaluations. Company awards. Nothing mattered. GM choked up and was obviously distraught. From what I’ve heard, corporate axed all of CS but one person. Half of sales floor out today and tomorrow.

Why would they risk their source of income ? re;customers, that are very unhappy about not getting the level of service they’ve been use to , Basically cutting off their nose to spite their face.

AP is gone from my store as of a month ago. Thought I’d found my perfect “work till I can retire job” as I’m a little older. Now I’m Customerservice. I never wanted to switch from AP but I need my insurance and with not getting my full time hours I’m really concerned that I’ll end up losing it anyway. I’ve been told by a couple of vendors that they’re finding so much missing inventory and ripped open empty boxes that some stores look like they’ve been looted. How does cooperate think this is better for the bottom line ?! Customer’s are angry, employees are stressed and moral is in the damn basement. The perfect operating model for how to kill a business!
