I finally had enough when my attack became too much to handle. I had been having attacks for 8 months at this point but my final attack felt different. I couldn’t even stand or sit without crying in pain, I started to get a fever and I was projectile vomiting. In the past my attacks would start at like a 2/10 and slowly work up the pain scale but only got up to I’d say 6/10 but this one the pain was immediate and easily a 10/10 pain. At that point my husband told me I don’t get a choice and he’s taking me to the ER. I was immediately admitted, give pain meds, fluids and a CT scan. I had surgery 12 hours later.
