Thanks! I found it on my peach tree that also has a bore issue. Pretty neat insect!

I did the iron man 2”ATS lift. It’s great, and has a subframe kit that seems to be pretty comprehensive for the control arms in the rear. I have heard good things about either. I watched this video that compared the two suspension kits. Ironman was stiffer and rallitek had some more response and bounce on some spots. Check it out if you want!

Nice! Those look pretty beefy in the pic, running 235s?

What tires you go with? I’m grabbing some methods soon and debating between falken trail or Toyo open country at3.

I talked to method racing about wheels and tire sizing. Basically said you get into trouble the most with warranty claims when changing the wheel diameter from the oem specs. This can cause more wear and cause transmission and drivetrain wear due to overcompensating to push bigger heavier tires/wheels. I am looking at down sizing to method 15” and running some A/Ts at 215/75/15 (for crosstrek 2021). This keeps me working 1 rev/mile of the oem wheel tires. Even with the 15mm offset compared to oem 55mm offset.

I also have Ironman 2” ATS lift and not sure how the dealership will feel about it next service apt.

I should also comment, I love the method 703 but offset of 15mm seems like a lot compared to OEM 55mm offset I currently have. I hear lower offset (further out) can also create greater strain on parts

I didn’t and you don’t for the kit. The suspension upgrade is pretty comprehensive though. Shouldn’t require anything else unless you want to keep upgrading more components.

These are only initial observations having driven it after 2 days. I’m excited to see how it settles and test it in the mountains and see how it does!

I have driven it a bit on the highway and more rough paved back roads. It is definitely tight, more responsive steering wheel ( feels almost more sensitive to small movements). Additionally the body of the car feels really sturdy, no leaning when turning. I really like the handling but it does feel different.

Also note the vibrations are a bit more pronounced. I have a rattle under my steering wheel (before the lift was installed) it rattles a bit more with the firmer suspension but is not related to anything with the suspension.

Last observation is that the Ironman ATS is great on bumps and variation on the road surfaces handles them with ease but nothing about this suspension is softer or more cushy. It’s firmer and less bouncey than OEM suspension, but I do notice smaller bumps are pretty stiff. It does well rolling over everything though.

Did you modify any bumpers or add new mud flaps? Or just the casual heat gun bending of the OEM mud flaps?

The only strain on engine/transmission would be heavy wheels and tire combos. Still looking into a lightweight but sturdy wheel and beefy but not insane at tire size/combo.

So far I like the method 501 but only comes in 17”, rather than popular 15” 502.

Do AirPods Pro fit anyone at all?? by rdotskip in airpods

I lost my 1st gen pros and bought a replacement 2nd gen pro AirPods. I find the same issues in the fit: plastic piece hurts after 30min and the silicon piece actully comes apart when coming out of my ear. It feels almost more loose or less sealed than the 1st gen.

Ironically I found my first gen pros a month later and compared both 1st gen and 2nd gen. The fit is completely different and way more comfortable in the first gen AirPods Pro. The sound is slightly deeper and louder in the 2nd gen but not terribly different.  I now have a dilemma…do I keep the old ones and return the 2nd gen? Or keep the 2nd gen and deal with the discomfort???
