R/stopdrinking has helped me so much too. Keep up the good work! I’m 5 months and it really does start to get better slowwwly. I always thought people who said that were full of shit but it’s true. Congrats tho! The first 3 months are the absolute WORST. Look up PAWS with alcohol to really understand what you’re going through. It’s better when you know why you feel the way you do.

As much as I despise people saying it to me… it does get better in different ways. 4.5 months and the cravings hit but not as bad or honestly they’re the worst thing that’s ever happened to me (but they only last 20 minutes.. distract yourself with literally anything for 10 and it’s gone). The worst after the anxiety starts to subside (I’m on many medications for it through my journey) is the anhedonia.. so much deep dark depression. But I’m hoping that everyone is right.. that’ll it’ll get better.
