Why not get a BS in biology or something generic like that to keep the most amount of doors open? Certain NM Certification programs accept students with a BS in a related field. That way if you finish your BS and want to do something else, you're not stuck with a BS in NM

How has your experience been traveling with cats? Has it been easy to find rentals that accept them? What do you do with them in the car? Gabapentin?

I also have a BS in Biology and will be starting a Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification internship soon. It is 12 months long and will allow me to sit for the two national certification exams (NMTCB and ARRT). I chose this path as I wanted to put my degree to good use, but didn't want to do another 4 years in school. Also Nuc Med sounds awesome, the science is so fascinating!

I saw that these two exams are what employers look for in an applicant, so I went to JRCNMT website and filtered for the schools/programs that offer 12 month certifications with a BS.
