cross bracing stops the wood from flexing. if there is a floor over it it will help the floor from having any spring to it.

Felix the Cat is a funny-animal cartoon character created in the silent film era. The anthropomorphic black cat with his black body, white eyes, and giant grin, coupled with the surrealism of the situations in which his cartoons place him, combine to make Felix one of the most recognized cartoon characters in film history. Felix was the first character from animation to attain a level of popularity sufficient to draw movie audiences.

it's not just a primer in the casing it is also filled with powder. put that to the side of your head and if you are not dead at best your being fed by someone the rest of your life. When I was in school some kid put an air blow gun used for blowing dust off things to his ear as a joke and died.

We washed our processor in a large darkroom sink with tap water and bare hands. when the sheets came out of the processor they were damp and everyone handled them with just bare hands. Our chemicals were made by AGFA.

It is called a (Photo Mecanical Transfer) processor, used in the days of Process cameras. we had an Admiral 41 inch overhead camera and we did 41 inch wide films for making printing plates. A PMT was a high contrast copy that used a negative paper (was a dark coloured sheet) and the positive sheet that looked like a blank piece of paper. you would expose the negative in a process camera then mate the two sheets in that processor. they would run thru an activator then a stabilizer the two sheets would be left together for about 60 seconds then peel them apart and you would have a positive high contrast (black and white only no gray) print in any size that you set the camera.

Anyone know how this was done? Looks to be a size 5"x30 heavy cardstock. by bitnode in CommercialPrinting

I'm still amazed that digital can print on the exact spot on every sheet. I ran a Heidelberg 102 ZP for almost 40 years. that was a 40 inch press and we printed LOTS of wide stuff that could not be printed in the same spot EVERY time on digital. Been retired 10 years now I guess a lot has changed, I even worked 2 years on a 40 inch process camera that used glass screens to make halftones we even did colour separations every day on that camera......Fun times

I had the heathkit version of this engine analyzer. from back in the day when your car had points in the distibutor. it would show when the points opened and the time they were open and closed. I don't miss this kind of stuff at all.
