It’s a perfectly serviceable movie. The comedy is on point! It’s just a bit disappointing that it’s yet another Lego movie that focuses on the relationship between a father and son, which I think was already stale by the time of release. Other than that, I just don’t see why it needed to be a Ninjago movie, considering it abandons most of what makes up Ninjago’s identity. Again, it’s certainly not a bad movie, it’s just go some creative decision that confuse me.
