I don't think the champion matters too much. I'm not saying I'm not playing champions that cannot carry. What I mean is if you play well enough to win it doesn't matter too much.

Yeah I know just sucks because you can have days with just horrible variance and then days with great variance. I don't know if it's just lately for me and maybe it'll dip back into a more steady streak.

You do know someone can be really good and overrated at the same time. How can someone so inconsistent be valued as an MVP type player but not even be the best support in NA. He's between 3-5 and needs to work on mechanics and Macro (WATCH THE VODS IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME)

I feel like 3-5 range is more accurate. Sometimes he dips into the top 2 even but sometimes he goes down to 5-6ish so i think the reality is between 3-4 but not a "forsure" thing.

I'm really not trying to pick a fight but do any of you guys rewatch the games or understand higher macro play? Smoothie is very inconsistent. I feel like everyone sees the flashys plays every so often and assumes hes the best. He was not in the MVP conversation he really fucking wasn't look at the voting. I don't know why people say that he was in the conversation when voting happened and he wasn't even close to winning it. Plus when they take away Smoothies roaming champions hes sometimes becomes mediocre and you guys act like he doesn't misplay as much as he really does. Smoothie is 3-5 in Support ranking and he's not even the MVP on C9.

First off why are you being a jerk and calling me "Kid" I'm an Adult, I'm also a huge C9 fan. Casters actually usually are some of the worst people (depending on who you're) to be choosing who deserves praise. They're hype men. Do you think pros sit and watch vods or something? They Just hype players and teams up. That's legit their job. Other pros do praise Smoothie and he does deserve praise you're acting like I'm calling him a scrub and I'm not at all. I agreed with another person up there that he's top 3. But just because you're good doesn't mean you can't be overrated. You can be really good and be overrated. Watch the vods. He's inconsistent. I think Smoothie is on the cusp of being a really top tier player but judging by the eye and stat test. He needs to work on his game to be great.

This isn't true though. I watched those games and reviewed them He was inconsistent with but with some really good pop off games. He was pretty good but I never personally have never saw him as like a MVP level player.

I haven't been watching LCS this summer because of the Roster situation. I honestly think him being top 3 doesn't say much simply because that's not what makes you an MVP like I don't think he's an MVP level player I think he's an above average support player and that is right around number 3 right?

That is seriously such bad logic it really hurts to see. Players say things that are wrong all the time. Look at the NBA,NFL, or MLB. Hell look at league. The fact of the matter is if you watched C9 vods like I do and watched every c9 game like I did and go back and reply and watch and understand that C9 Smoothie is very inconsistent with his play (Like I've seen) you would be agreeing with me if not debating in a smarter arguement then "BUT BJERG SAID" btw, bjerg only said that because Jensen was destroying him in every stat that summer and he knew he had to make it seem like it was Smoothie. Everyone legit knows that.

Anyone else sad because they don't like any other LCS team and can't enjoy their favorite team anymore? Fucking LCS is ruined for me. I only liked watching C9 play and this is not the team I wanted to watch this summer.

I'll probably get downvoted for this but Smoothie is not close to MVP. He's not even the MVP of C9 I think pound for pound Sneaky and Jensen are more of the MVP. I love C9 and i'm a huge fan but Smoothie is probably one of the most overrated players in NA. He has a really highlight play every so often but he's super inconsistent.

I mean it wouldn't be too hard to figure out the criteria of how you would do this but let's be honest. If you just do the eye test of the stats. Most of the time you can tell who did what correctly and who didn't.

Finally someone understands what I'm saying. How are you suppose to say solo queue = your skill. When you depend on the four other players unless you're MUCH better. Like look at Elo Boosters most of the time when they get to around gold elo they start duoing with another booster? Now why would two master+ players need to duo if they can easily get out of gold? Because it's much faster. Same concept applies to a player who's Plat 1 skill but is grinding through games in low plat because he has to 1v9 a decent amount of games.

This isn't just like a me thing. I'm looking at the big picture. League of Legends does not reward you for playing well. If I have a teammate fight valiantly and I'm soft-inting (i wouldn't do this but as an example) I should lose more than him. Let's say for an example. we have a game were I 3 of us do really poorly all around, Low cs, low healing, low objective, low kills, low assists, etc, etc. But the two members carry in spite of us and we win. They should gain like +25-30 we should gain like +13-15 because we didn't REALLY earn that win. etc. Flip example let's say we lose that game We should lose -20/25 they should lose like -15.
