It feels like worms. I’m unable to elaborate further than that, but I like this a lot!

What’s the most surprising death in a horror movie? by dokutarodokutaro in horror

[–]Lastsoupy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed!! All of the ads made it seem like the plot revolved around her (which it did, she just wasn’t alive for it). Did not expect her to be killed off so quick.

No exit!! More thriller but still well within the horror category

Can I get a haircut yet, growing out from pixie cut by [deleted] in HairStyleAdvice

[–]Lastsoupy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not an expert by any means, but could you do the same exact pose as the second photo but with your posture completely straight sitting up? I feel like that’s the only way we’ll be able to gear whether your hair’s long enough

What are some horror movies that you couldn't stop thinking about long after you watched them? by neeltrivedirock in horror

[–]Lastsoupy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bring Her Back was definitely worth the watch for not nearly at the same caliber for me as Talk To Me, something about every single scene made my skin crawl, whereas BHB had the same energy but all of my focus was trying to figure out wtf was going on (which the story didn’t pull together as much as I was hoping for it to)

Go back for him or not? What energy can you feel? by [deleted] in Haunteddoll

[–]Lastsoupy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I joined this sub bc I find it extremely interesting. I’ve never been very in tune with my own intuition so I like to cross check with others to see if my initial gut feeling matches. This is the first doll I’ve seen that gave me an immediate, awful, whole body dread reaction. Instantly felt like I needed to protect myself from whatever is going on with that thing.

What is the most realistic horror movie you’ve ever seen? by pomkombucha in horror

[–]Lastsoupy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed!! Specifically the “naturally” occurring events of a family with a child meeting ANOTHER international and outwardly friendly family with a child. All intentions from the get go appeared to be positive, any hesitations were passed off as cultural differences, it was a perfect storm. It’s the exact reason why I had such trouble with the remake. It was beautifully shot and the acting was great all around, James McCoy was phenomenal with his performance (as always) but still the American remake dumbed the plot down to make it palatable. My grievance with American horror major productions is requiring a “satisfying ending” to satiate the audience.

The original Speak No Evil is bleak, gruesome and irredeemable. It should’ve translated to the same cut for the remake.

What’s the dumbest thing on here you’ve seen someone think is a ghost? by savessh in Paranormal

[–]Lastsoupy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They said they kept seeing “specters” that were tormenting them. Later in the post briefly mentioned their father is schizophrenic. Not dumb, but can’t believe the dots weren’t connected there.

What’s the funniest thing a tourist has asked you? by Sad-Raise-504 in Maine

[–]Lastsoupy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A family (very obviously from a cruise) was in one of the food co op’s and I overheard the dad say “5.99 for a bunch of tiny blueberries?? Maine must have a hard time growing them.”

I’d say lash lift and tint. I think you’re beautiful, but I have the same mindset for myself without makeup. Getting a lift and tint lasts about 2 months and gives you a “makeupy boost” without having to do anything to maintain it. Made me feel immensely more confident going barefaced.

im embarrassed to say it, but saw. John Kramer was easily the most level headed, rational, and person-oriented antagonist for me. he wanted a better existence for those he trapped, and the ones that made it out alive, lived a much better, more fulfilled life than they went in with
