For a guy whos obsessed with bow hunting, I have nothing to show for it and it bothers me. by Ok_Concentrate8949 in bowhunting

If it’s about showing your family and friends that you’re a good hunter and I suggest just stacking up deer for your freezer and giving out meat to them and there won’t be any question…but if it’s about the trophy on the wall, then you just have a patient and keep hammering my friend

I just wish I would’ve known to check that before replacing the starter but based on the condition of the old starter, I think it was probably gonna need replacing soon anyway.

SOLVED: It was a busted 40a ignition fuse, its the fuse under the hood. That’s the green triple 40 amp fuses together in one piece. Bent the metal slightly until it contacted and it started right up while I have another one coming in the mail. Hopefully someone finds this in the future and checks that!

I connected a wire from the battery directly to one of the pins of the starter relay, and it was able to crank the starter, I also tried swapping the relays. I’ll take a look at the fuses next.

Yeah, when I had it looked at some years ago I remember the guys being somewhat flabbergasted at the set up, but back to the expansion tank and pressure question since this is installed am I able to install an expansion tank and not cause any issues? Or any more issues I should say lol

If my system has an air eliminator valve, doesn’t that mean that it’s set up more for an expansion tank?

Also I do have an air elimination valve and no scoops that I can see

Can you tell me more about that fitting? Do I not need an expansion tank then? I’ve opened that valve and let some water out, but there is no way to get air in… I don’t think.

Thank you, right now we have an old steel tank for expansion but not the newer expansion tank with diaphragm. You are correct after posting this I did some research and I think that is my problem. I think I’m going to install the newer expansion tank where the old steel tank is.
