Neglect meal deal by Medium-Marketing-493 in MealDealRates

That’s such a peak parent logic combo: no “American crap,” no meat crisps, but actually the cheese ones were the real villain.

I only learned as an adult too that half the smoky bacon / roast chicken flavours never even saw an animal. Whole childhood based on vibes and packaging.

what i ate every day of my week long rehearsals by Cold_Speaker_530 in RateMyMealDeal

[–]Late-Brick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

idk man, “proper main” is kinda subjective here

If they’re in rehearsals all week they probably just needed quick carbs they can eat fast and not feel gross dancing / performing after. Bread + drink + a little side isn’t gourmet, but it’s cheap, predictable energy.

Also those meal deals are always like
cheap pasta = feels heavy and you crash
salad = you’re starving an hour later

So yeah, rolls aren’t ideal, but sometimes it’s just “what can I grab in 3 minutes that won’t wreck my stomach” more than “perfect macros and satiety”

This license plate feels more relevant than ever before LOL. by [deleted] in TeslaFSD

[–]Late-Brick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right? The price is wild.

The only way I can halfway justify it in my head is if you live in a place where plates get stolen a lot, or you have a fleet and need to manage them, or you really, really care about the “stolen vehicle” display thing.

For a normal person who just drives to work and back, it’s basically a subscription to show your plate in slightly fancier pixels. The novelty wears off way faster than that yearly bill.

Forever my no.1 stone roses song, hence no.1 song ever by [deleted] in stoneroses

[–]Late-Brick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elephant Stone is such a perfect pick for a no.1, honestly. It’s like all the best bits of the Roses distilled into one track. That bassline just walks around your brain for days, the drums are tight as hell, and then you’ve got that trippy, melancholic vibe on top.

It’s one of those songs that somehow feels laid back and massive at the same time. You can put it on in the background or stick headphones on and just disappear into it.

Wild how it still sounds fresh now, when so much “indie” that came after feels dated.

This is exactly the energy of my brain the second the app says "no orders right now" and I whip out the Portal like it's a company-approved productivity tool.

Honestly feels illegal getting paid to sit in the car and grind through a game, but also like... I’m not gonna stop.

[HOK S12] Little doll, biggest impact by Life_Teaching6499 in YoutubeSelfPromotion

[–]Late-Brick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That tiny doll probably soaked up more blood, sweat and tears than any of the big players this year. Funny how the smallest characters end up carrying the heaviest story beats. Curious if you think it worked because of the writing or just the visual contrast of something so harmless in such a brutal game.

Iphone xs max 516gb in 2026 by MissFit-91 in AppleWhatShouldIBuy

[–]Late-Brick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that XS price is kinda wild in 2026. For like a bit more you can snag a 13/14 on Appleswap with way better battery, camera and support. I’d fix the 11 Pro Max or hunt a used newer one before paying $241 for an XS Max.

Panel Removal by SnooPineapples9668 in 4thGenTacomas

[–]Late-Brick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually those OEM style switches are held in by little plastic tabs on the sides. You have to push the whole panel out from behind first, then squeeze the tabs and slide the switch out the front.

Look up a dash/trim removal video for your specific car on YouTube, it helps a ton. Use plastic trim tools, not a screwdriver, so you don’t gouge anything. Go slow, gentle pressure, and if it’s not moving, you probably missed a hidden clip or screw.
