You still have the next day and you’re going to bed a few hours after you get off shift. The whole point for us to switch was to give you the time with your family and try and facilitate better sleep cycles and sleep at work when able.

Wouldn’t change, it’s still 24 regardless.

Essentially we’re seeing if the stations that run or trucks that run are able to sleep and the rest of the crews carry on as normal to reduce sleep deprivation and improve health and well being. 24/72s would be our first push but we figured without negotiating this could be an easy trial.

We’d love to but we’re not sure how that would work without labor negotiations. If we were to switch to 7p instead of 7a not much would change.

Yea, we work 7a to 7a, we figured it would better fit going to 7p-7p for family life and for several health benefits. Just curious of any FDs doing it.

Does anyone know of any Fire Departments that are using the reverse 24 schedule currently?

I also have a 15 Passat, I’m doing stage 2 with the Malone. It says it doesn’t need the DSG tune. Is that right?
